Hey guys. I've been trying to join for a few months, and the site finally let my registration go through for some reason.

I wasn't old enough to see it in theaters, but when I saw Tron when I was young, it really stood out to me. I love computers and technology, and to see it creatively depicted as a real world was astounding. Sure the lines were cheesy, but the story and characters still grab me today. Other than Star Wars, Tron's universe is about the only other sci-fi I'm into.

Tron Legacy, however is where my passion for Tron truly has sky rocketed. I was so excited for this movie to come out, and I absolutely loved it. The characters completely outshined the original's, the design of the world was astounding, and it has literally now become my most cherished sci-fi movie. Don't get me wrong, I love Star Wars (looking at my wife and I's media room is proof of that), however Star Wars has been fading into obscurity for me for quite some time. Each prequel or each cartoon series or each change to the original movies makes me less interested than before. It's been so sucked out of life, it's hard to care about it anymore, especially with a whole new universe (Tron) to discover.

I can't wait for the new cartoon and third sequel for Tron. Another newbie here,just signed up today!

My name is Mark & i'm from the UK,i mainly collect vintage star wars toys & as i have almost finished my collection,things were going slow & after seeing Tron Legacy i started collecting the toys!

Its a shame Spinmaster pulled the line as i was looking forward to more core figures & it is an absolute travesty that they binned the Castor figure.At least one has made it out(congrats Magnum!).

I absolutely loved Tron legacy & can't for the 3rd film & the animated series too & look forward to spending more time on this great site!

A TRON-themed wedding would be super awesome! Please let us know if you and your fiancee decide to do this and post pics and ideas Lots of neon and light tape would definitely be in order If I wasn't already married I would want a TRON-themed wedding too

So hello all you Tron fans.

Some might consider me a rookie fan tho because i started following Tron with Legacy.

It all started before i decided to go see the movie in theaters. I sat down the night before and watched this movie called Tron from 1982 because i am going to watch the new one the next day.

I always knew Tron existed. I would see it in Kingdom Hearts game or Dexter cartoon .. the light cycles were popular, but i never saw the movie. I never ever saw it on TV .. maybe it's because i'm from Europe.

So anyway. Here i am watching Tron and at first it was a bit hard for me because i never watch old movies (i hardly find the time to watch the new ones hehe), but then the story got exciting and it was a good movie overall.

Then i got to see Tron: Legacy. While watching ... i don't think i've realized how EPIC it was because i was so into it. Seeing all the connections with the first movie and the story actually being 30 years in the future like the movies actual difference. Seeing Bruce and Jeff aged like that .. it's was just so special .. and i think that was the main reason why i became a fan. Ofcourse i watched the original again after that and Legacy twice in theaters (number is bigger now :P) ...

It's ussualy really hard to explain but the main reason why i love Tron is because of its history and its present and their connection. It's a really special and unique movie. So to me Tron is not just a movie ... i think the sequel title got it right. Tron is not a movie ... it's sort of a legacy.

A while ago when i got my Tron (1982) DVD and i watched the movie and all the extras for almost 5 hours. When i realized just how much effort Linsberger put in Tron with all the passion, risks and hard work to create such masterpiece. And he started with so little and set such high goals that no one probably dared back then and no matter how big their name was. It blew me away. The man created and pushed CGI filming. Genius.

I could go on and on...

Oh damn what a wall of text. Sry guys ... if anyone even wants to read this hehe.
