Hey, I'm a bit new to the whole Tron scene. I first got interested in Tron: Legacy when I found out Daft Punk was doing the score to the movie, so I decided to try and make an effort to watch the original movie first. Then I was down in Disneyworld and played both Tron and Discs of Tron and LOVED both games (I'm a big video game nut) and then I came back and found Tron on video tape for $1, watched it, and now you can say I'm a Tron fan!

I was 9 years old when the original Tron film came out. It burned itself in my memory as few other films have.
Of course, I was already a hard core sci fi geek by then (Doctor Who, Star Wars), but still, it was uniquely rewarding in it's own way.
When the lightcycle test footage trailer came out I was pumped, and when the storyline trailer with Sam came out I was even more excited. I visited Flynn Lives and Hello Flynn of course; who hasn't? But it wasn't until I found Tron Sector that I found my real Tron fandom home.
Oh yes, I'm 37 and from southeastern PA, and miss proper video arcades terribly.order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pill

Hi! I'm Shade, and I figured I'd join this here community, what with all the hype about this new movie.
I've been a fan since I watched Tron on the Disney Channel, waaay back in the late 80's/early 90's.
I have the Mac version of Tron 2.0, which annoys me to no end, as the game is great, but it won't run on anything but my oldest computer.

Greetings, programs and fellow lurkers!
I'm from Maryland. Thought I'd come out of the digital shadows myself and post some thoughts on a few things, pass the time until December, and try to assuage my cravings for the next movie!
Saw the original in the movie theater when I was 8 or 9, as this was the 2nd movie I ever saw at the movies, the first one being The Black Hole (which was cool to see a piece of memorabilia for in the 2nd trailer behind the two warrior figures).
Nice to meet everyone here and nice to have a place where people are as obsessed with TRON as I am.

Hello all,
Tron was my Star Wars. I didn't arrive to the U.S until 1978 so I was late to the Star Wars phenomenon due to my lack of knowledge of American culture. I was blown away at the theater when I first saw it. When Disneyland had the Tron Lightcycle segment on the people mover that totally left an impression on me. The sound and scale of that part of the ride was awesome. Another bonus of Tron was Syd Mead wa the Production Designer!!!! That guy is God. I missed out on the merchandising of the original but not this time.

Nate; long time lurker first time poster.
From the mostly cold state of Minnesota, I once switched out a tape we were going to watch in my high school sociology class with a copy of Tron.
I've been working on several prop replicas from the original, my most recent finish was Flynn's helmet. While not really very accurate, with all the time it took to paint the blasted thing I'm cool with it.
I'm currently working on a couple other items, including a '78 Wham-o soft fris and an SK600.

Hi Everyone,
Been a huge Tron fan since i was a kid, and eagerly waiting for Legacy! Ever since i saw the light bikes for the first time i was hooked!
I've actually designed a watch inspired by the new look Tron. Its in a competition, still at the concept stage. So far its had great comments but ever little helps, so if you've got time i'd appreciate you having a look!
I'll create a new topic shortly with links and a few more details, so keep your eyes open.
Scott.
