That is awesome. Best TRON themed music video yet!
Similar in theme to A1's "Take On Me" clip, but far superior overall.
Better use of imagery and locale than the clip for '12:51' by The Strokes although theirs was more of a perfect homage to the style of TRON. Still my fave over all just for technique.
This is what Shania Twain's 'Gonna Getcha (Good)' video should have looked like.

I liked it as well There are a lot of similarities to tron. With some changesin it that make it different than tron. Like the lightcycles for example where the glass is retractable . Thought it was really good. Loved the singer in that one there. She's a cutie there.

Wow, that was really incredible. An excellent homage to Tron! Whoever produced/directed that video must definately be a Tron fan.

Neat! those tron light cycle scenes were quite vibrant and were the most interesting part of the video. Prankster, what browser are you using?
I seemed to have had trouble loading it in Firefox but managed to load it in IE with no troubles. I also couldn't get the Quicktime version to work but the Windows Media version worked fine. You may or may not see a blank screen for a short bit until it completely loads too, so try waiting a bit and see if it does that for you. Hope that helps.

Very very cool. Great find and thanks for sharing. Personally I didn't like their version of the light cycle. I like the clean look of the original much more but that's really a small point. The video was great!

I agree - I didn't like their cycles as much as the real TRON light cycles, and a few other off points in the video, but not a big deal. The video was great!
I thought it was really cool to see such an obvious tribute to TRON and cool TRON-esque imagery... topped off with a babeTRON of a singer!
I think this video needs to be archived here at TRON-Sector!
And I think it definitely disserves a spot on the main page! (which I am attending to right now).

Are you guys crazy? That song and video is terrible! It's TRON meets Night at the Roxbury. The beetle eyeglasses lightcycles are sad, sad derivatives. I ain't feeling it. If I worked on the Original TRON and saw mystuff get ripped to make that half-baked euro dance hall smut I'd be bummed.

Hrm. I disagree but don't begrudge you your opinion. The song is "ok" but I kind of like that kind of music. If you don't I can see how you wouldn't groove on it.
However I think the tron animation scenes are pretty cool. See.. the thing is when someone does a parody of something I want things to be a little exaggerated. Otherwise it would be someone just ripping off someone else's designs and ideas.
If things are a little exaggerated and somewhat gaudy it's kind of a new "spin" on things.
I thought it was pretty cool and just the right amount of Tron without going overboard into schtick.

Wow, that was blatantly a tribute to tron. I was expecting maybe a lightcycle showing up or something, but it even said "end of line" at the end, that's amazing. I just can't picture a pop song in america using tron imagery like that.
