Both my sisters were in london, but they are a-okay  Man, as soon as it all started my whole family was on the phone to one other, it was scary.
My eldest sis went through kings cross at 8:30 - scary. And i have a friend who works at buckingham palace who was at kings cross at 8:50 (time of the bombings) but shes ok too. I don't know anyone affected and i hope no one here does.

but i've said it several times before, and i'll say it again. i could have been there, i'm so glad i lost my wallet
according to the news, the biggest thing damaged [nationwide] is the mood. having been rejoicing over winning the 2012 olympics, this is a stark contrast to the celebrations and jubilations 2 days ago

it's not at bad as the events of 9/11 [repercussions were felt far and wide...poor guys  , but it's still a big blow for londinium

Been so out of the loop, I almost travelled into Town that day, as did a lot of friends and family .. luckily most of them had distractions of some sort.
It was very strange travelling into London the following day though ..
My heart goes out to all those caught up in it  --

no, these were "duds"
the detonators went off but not the actual bombs, aparrently this was deliberate.
