Why? Well, we all know the blue symbol, right?
I have evidence that this is an excusilvely User symbol. Take a look at this image of Tron, one of our leading blues:
See the symbol? I don't.
Now, look at this.
Yori has no symbol in sight. But if you look closely at Flynn, you can see the symbol, half hidden behind the cloth over his chest.
Many of those on the Sector who use a Sketch-made avatar and are not red have this symbol somewhere on their digital person.....what do you say to THAT?!

maybe it's like a rank symbol, and that is like the highest possible?

The reason I choose that symbol is because it appears on other programs besides Flynn, therefore it reoresents those who fight for the Users. It's on ROM and RAM as well. That's the reason I use that icon on some of the character designs I've created. The reds have their V symbol so why can't the blues have a symbol for them? I think I've also seen that symbol appear on one of Sark's gauntlets somewhere. I don't think that logo has anything to do with rank or anything. I would think that it had purely to do with athetics. ^^;;
