heh.... i have a raid 0 filesever that has been running for over 4 years now..no hd errors and it gets heavy use  Good choice with the raid! Another thing to consider later is adding another dvd drive...just a generic one so you can copy dvd to dvd. Also your case has two floppy slot i belive. If you have a camera or any other device with memory cards a multifunction reader is AWSOME. I'm very interested to see how the oc goes on the fx-57. I think 3ghz is well within your reach..thats only another 200mhz. If you go with a more agressive cooling setup...water with peltiers, or even PHASE COOLING (evil grin) 3.5+ is possible. Best of luck with the oc, when you or falcon finds the sweet spot with your cooler could you please post your temps, and voltage/multiplier settings. I've decided to wait on a Blue-Ray or HD-DVD drive instead of buying another DVD burner. They're probably not too far away, and I can wait.
My printer has a multi-format card reader built in, and it's a USB 2.0 device (though currently on a USB 1.0 connection) so that's what I'll be using. I could've gotten a combination multi-function card reader/1.44MB Disc Drive, but I think it takes up an internal USB connector, and I want all my USB connections available for accessories.
After talking with Falcon that couple more times, I've decided to forget about overclocking for now. This PC is going to be "stupid-fast" as my Falcon rep so succinctly put it, so there's really no need to overclock it now.

Oooooooo thanks for reminding me about the release of Rediscovering Lost Scores Vol. 2! I really want to pick it up to complement the TRON soundtrack.
I hoping my new PC will be the powerhouse it sounds like.
I've never used anything newer than my Pentium III and GeForce 3 setup, so I can barely imagine what this puppy can do.
Don't worry, you'll get your own killer PC one day. This is only my second PC, and it was a long time coming.

I GOT IT!!!
Man, oh man, this PC is awesome.
I set it up temporarily last night, and what do you think was the first game I loaded? TRON 2.0 of course! And now I know how some of the better lightcycle players can do what they do - they had better PC's than I did; had being the operative word here.
I have a little setting up and rearranging to do on my computer desk before I can put together a permanent setup and start playing online.
Also, The soundcard I wanted wasn't available yet, but will be at BestBuy on Sunday, so I'll be purchasing one and calling up Falcon tech support to guide me through the install (so I can do it like they would do it.) So I may wait until then for pictures of the inside.
I will post pictures soon, and I expect to be online before the week is out.

I installed the Ergodex DX-1 input system tonight.
This thing is a gamer's dream, plain and simple. It has replaced my Belkin Nostromo n52 after one use.
The keys are easily moved but stay where you put them and there is absolutely no lag whatsoever.
This really is a must-have item.
I'll post shots of my setup soon.

My power supply failed last week!
Argh, sometimes I think it's my fate to be the guy who always gets that one defective example of whatever I buy.
It's not a problem though. I called up Falcon and they had my PC overnighted to them. They replaced the defective PS with a new SilverStone ST60F 600Watt Modular Power Supply, which is cool because it's a newer model, it's supposed to be much quieter than my old one (which I already thought was quiet), and what's more, all of the wires are modular! This means that if I ever want or need to change out the PS in the future all I need to do is unplug the wires from the PS and not from everything else. Very cool! Now they're overnighting my PC back to me so I should get it tomorrow. And all of this was under warranty so it didn't cost me a dime.

Well, that's a bummer to have your power supply go out on you that quickly.
But on the flip side - it sounds like they were cool to you about it and you made out on top with a newer turbo model. I don't know what turbo-model was supposed to mean... well, you know - better model and all. It just felt right so I went with it.

That's awesome news, Mutoid. It's nice to see Falcon taking care of their customers. Companies like that will stay in business.
I have a kind of similar story. A little over a month ago, my DVD burner went on the fritz. I tried everything I could think of, but narrowed it down to something being wrong with the burner itself. It would stall most of the time when burning a DVD, which then ended up becoming a coaster. 
So I brought it back to the store where I bought it, to have it RMA'd. Lucky enough, I just had this problem shortly before the warranty expired.
While the store staff weren't the friendliest I've ever dealt with (this store has great prices but isn't known for its service), they took the drive back and said it would take at least 4 weeks for a replacement. So, that part sucked. I was stuck without a burner for a month.
But the good news, is not only did I get a new burner . . . but the model I had is discontinued. So the store ended up giving me the latest model instead. Now I've got a faster DVD burner! So even though I had to wait and the store staff weren't the friendliest, I can't complain.
