Dune: The Butlerian Jihad

on Monday, June, 20, 2005 10:40 PM

Anyone read this? I am reading it now, and I think I like it but I'm not sure. It kind of seems like an anime kind of movie to me. With big battle bots and humans fighting machines and whatnot. I am REALLY reminded of Xenosaga on the PS2.

I think maybe the writers are influenced by Japanese Anime to some extent. But, I mean for what it is, it seems good, but I am not getting that "Dune" feel, know what I mean?

Anyone else have an opinion?

The Butlerian Jihad stories are quite good.

The first book is the main setup - and when you see what causes the revolution you'll probably be quite saddened and ready to fight the machines as well.

The sequel, The Machine Crusade, is quite strong! You won't see what's comin' in that book!

I haven't read The Battle of Corrin yet (waiting for paperback), but I've really enjoyed the series.

I thoroughly enjoyed the prequels of Dune: House Atreides, House Harkonnen and House Corrino. They set up everything for the first book so very well!

Let me know what you think when you finish the first book!order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill
