Star Wars Episode III; Revenge of the Sith

on Thursday, May, 19, 2005 9:25 AM
The end of the line for many many fans. But an honest send off for them.
Frankly this film kicks all galactic butt and ties the two trilogies together in a bittersweet knot. I totally love it, seeing it twice today and many more times i hope.
Biggest surprises, no spoliers

- Yoda looks and acts like he did in 4,5,6. Realling good CG acting
- Fantastic title, *something of the something* franchise pays off.
- 5 COUNT THEM! 5 Lightsabre duels
- Palpatine scares me proper
- Alderann, I'v waited 5 years to Aldaraan. I love Alderaan

In short tron fans see this movie, over and out.

I enjoyed it!

It's way better than the first two prequels and the acting by Hayden Christiansen and Natalie Portman is much better than Episode II.

The look of the film is quite nice and the VFX are the best in the prequels...PERIOD.

There are still cringe-inducing moments of dialogue (Lucas just CAN'T write romantic scenes - Natalie Portman went on record saying so, so don't call me a hater!) but overall, it's more on par with the originals than the other prequels.

Ewen McGregor and Ian McDiarmid steal the film from everyone else, though! They flippin' rule! Literally!

I have to see it again to get my overall opinion on it, but I recommend it to fellow Star Wars fans and fans of the Summer Blockbuster!order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

Woooowww!!!

Episode III is very nice, incredible.

It is a movie with drama

My favorite scenes are:

*Mace Windu Vs. Palpatine
*Obi Wan Vs. Anakin

I want to say the exact details of these scenes for what I liked them but I don´t want to say spoilers.

And If the people think that star wars will end here, they are wrong...

The future of Star Wars already is confirmed

In Celebration III gave to themselves many important news for the future of Star Wars. :order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

I saw it last night and I am still thinking about it. Whereas I didn't out right dislike it, there are some things that left me confused/wanting.

The film was fantastic.

I happen to think the entire saga flows together quite nicely.

A great saga indeed.

I just got back from seeing it...AWESOME MOVIE!!!

I thought it did an EXCELLENT job of setting the stage for episode 4.

Darth Sidious is quite possibly one of the best bad guys ever (that I have seen anyway)

And except for a couple BRIEF glimpses...ROTS is Jar Jar free

I'm no fan of Jar Jar, however I'm no member of the crusade against him either. I have to say, and nothing personal intended, but the only thing more annoying than Jar Jar himself is the unceasing bellyaching about him. The grand total of Jar Jar scenes aren't much larger than a few minutes back-to-back, but the public whining about him is spiraling off into infinity.

His character's being annoying at least had a point, which isn't the same claim of those who can't give it a rest with the bleating on about their disfavor of him.abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

Agreed. The complaining about a minor character is equally annoying. XP

Hrm... I disagree. I think fans have a right to gripe about whatever they want. If you're putting a work of art out there for people to see, then you're going to have to put up with criticism. To say that people have no right to voice their opinions is wrong, in my book. Are some people doing it to be hurtful? Yeah, probably. Is that unfair? Sure. However some people have valid points about things Lucas did in the first three movies.

I think it's more up to YOU to ignore those comments and don't let them get under your skin so much.

I'm not implying there's no right to complain nor that there's nothing to complain about.

It's just that this dead horse has been long since reduced to dust and fossilized.

There's nothing new to add to the complaint that hasn't long since been overly-covered. You think there is a human alive that has seen any Star Wars film once that has not heard the phrase "Jar Jar sucks" at least 25 times?

So, it's not a question of "I can complain as much as I want" but more an issue of "am I saying anything worth hearing anymore?"where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

Criticism is alright, but when it's repeated over and over, it feels like there's no point to it anymore and quite old and tired. (Jedi Unit explains so much better than I ever could.)

Anyoo. Still reading the book. I hope to be able to catch an open captioned version of this!

I haven't really heard the Jar Jar lamentations for a few years now, since right before the second movie. So yeah, if you're still hearing it out of people then they have problems.

*shrugs*. We're pretty much a society where we say the same thing over and over and over again to make a point. I guess I have just gotten used to it by now.

Personally, Jar Jar never bothered me. What bothered me what the little kid who played Anakin in the first film. now HE bugged me

Anyone notice that Ahmed Best actually got credit in the cast even though Jar Jar never uttered a word?

Yep. I saw that. o_O Wonder if there was a cut scene or something.

I didn't have a problem with Jar Jar either. (It seems that the main complaint was about his voice?)

Some people thought Jar Jar's character was/is racist. Mainly becase of how he speaks. Some also think he's gay (whatEVER )

While I am not a hardcore 'Jar Jar Hater' per se, I was glad he was not really in Episode 3. Since to me it seemed Jar Jar's main purpose was to 'lighten things up' and that really didn't have much of a place in the much-darker-than-the-other-prequels Episode 3. Not to say the movie doesn't have it's 'light moments' but I think R2 pulls them off just fine himself

I'd like to start a spoiler topic where we can discuss the finer points of the movie. Anyone opposed to that?
