Here are three little animations I threw together from movie screencaps. Thought some of the memers here might like them. Just little fun exercises. Enjoy.
Maximilian animation came out a little fast.
EDIT: I know this might be considered sick and twisted, but I love that Maximilian killing sequence. Thank you Disney! where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online https://www.flickr.com/photos/blue_bezel/ |

Very cool, Sketch!
And Maximillian rules, btw!
I am still amazed that Disney let that scene stay in the film. That's what got it the very first PG rating for a Disney film in history.
Rock on, Max!

Is that Gort in the first one? I actually remember that the scene you animated in the Black Hole somewhat traumatized me as a young child. Good thing I didn't see something like Sin City as a kid, huh?

The first one is from "Earth VS The Flying Saucers." Great 1950s saucer movie.where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

That Maximilian Black Hole bit was probably one of the coolest scenes in the whole film. It set a tone of the seriousness in a very deadly way. The concept of having one's torso just ripped apart was chilling when I saw this as a kid. Of course, that was the cleanest torso shredding EVER! I mean - not a drop of blood shot out! But for Disney, I guess that was a pretty risqué move. The actor's reaction to is was great - he really sold the shot! And in this scene, Maximilian was established as one badass robot that no one should mess with!

Cool animations Sketch!
I have to watch Earth Vs. the Flying Saucers again; it's been well over 15 years since I've seen it. Maybe I'll just pick up the DVD.
Maximilian is still one of my all-time favorite sci-fi robots, right up there with Robbie & Gort.
The chest drilling scene was really pretty over-the-top for a Disney movie. And you're right TheReelTodd, Anthony Perkins(of Psycho) really did a good job of making you cringe even though you didn't see any gore.

I must say that I love the voice the invaders use in Earth VS The Flying Saucers. There's just a coolness to the way it sounds that gives it a serious tone.
"We operate in a very different time reference. You might say all this is taking place betwen the ticks of your watch and the beats of your heart."
Check out these two music files someone compiled together using audio from Earth Vs Flying Saucers. The guy who made it used it in a cgi demo reel of his.

Don't forget Mutoid, Anthony Perkins didn't just get chest drilled, but he also fried after he fell into that electical shaft. KERZAAAP! Boy don't you know people were looking at the screen with wide eyes when that death scene played.
It's still amazing that Disney churned that monster of a movie out. This is the same dark movie that you can find as a Golden Book. A freakin GOLDEN BOOK that's for little kids. How classically awkward is that? Disney defintally had a hard time pitching their first PG rated film. https://www.flickr.com/photos/blue_bezel/ |
