I am playing this game now and I have to admit... it is SOOOOOOOOOOOO odd I don't know what to make of it really.
When I think about it outside of the game, it doesn't really overly make me want to sit down and play it, but when I do I CAN'T PUT IT DOWN. I get so obsessed with making a bigger Katamari I just keep playing and playing and playing it.
This is THE most bizzare game I have ever played.

I got it for my dad for fathers day and I already made the moon. My high score is in the high 500s. Maybe 568m. I cant pick up the rainbow. Or the cyclone. Can you even pick them up ?

I also love the music and sound effects. When you run over skyscrapers you hear all the people scream!

I actually got bored of the game after the 5th level and moved on to Rachett And Clank: Up Your Arsenal.

Oh, I unlocked eternal mode. There is no time limit! To unlock it you need to make your moon 800 meters! Once you do it, little angel things spin around the monolithic katamari. I managed to clear the world of everything. No islands, clouds, rainbow, tornadoes. NOTHING LEFT but the 821m katamari in the ocean.

Edit-- Just don't go to Walmart. They won't have it. Check out Ebgames or Gamestop.

I got mine at best buy for like 10 dollars!It is a pretty old game. Glad they are making a sequel! Hope it is as good! Exclaim! Exclaim! Exclaim!

Tony.Rom came over to my house a few days ago and brought Katamari Damacy with him. IT IS SOO FUN. The front cover is really cool. If only the graphics were ACTUALLY that good. They put alot of objects in the game so they must have run out of RAM for thr PS2 harddrive. Maybe the sequel will have rounder graphics.

Only time if it ever runs out of ram is if it lags, I don't remember getting lag. =P

The PS2 isn't like the computer. They make PS2 games to the point where they fit the requirements. It's impossible to get lag on a PS2 unless you're playing over an internet adapter.abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

I did get lag on my PS2. :P
That was with FFX-2 because they jammed it /full/ big time. :P

What do you all mean by lag? Do you mean gameplay slowing down or lag when you're playing online?

I have found gameplay slows down on my PS2 from time to time when a lot of things go on on the screen. Like for example in Rachett And Clank when your Nanotech increases and you're in the middle of a battle then everything kind of skips and jumps. Also I have had slow downs in Wipeout games as well as others when there's a lot of activity on the screen.
But not like.... All the time.
