Laptop or Desktop-What's your Pref.?

on Tuesday, April, 12, 2005 3:35 PM
Desktop for me definitely!

Also, I don't like those LCD monitors, I like the reg. big one's myself. I won't guess how a picture looks if I'm working on art and am not sure if it looks cool enough.

If you can both.

I love to do work outside in park on a nice day. Makes the coding much less maundane. Labtops are more expensive then desktops, but the mobility is great. Wardriving is such a kick.

But for my gaming/workstation

I love my desktop. Its just so much cheaper/ more upgradable/ and more room for stuff (like a raid array). And its a lot faster then my labtop....mmm overclocking.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

Jeez, I'm not sure I have a preference.

They're both really good to have. I mean a desktop or tower is great for general computing needs and is a lot easier to have a bunch of peripherals hooked up to than a laptop.

But, a laptop is great since you can take it anywhere and be anywhere while you're doing your thing.

As I ponder a new computer, I'm kind of up in the air. I can only afford one new computer, not two. Should I go for the portability of a laptop, or the tried and true and easily upgradeable standard tower? Hard to say. Neither one is in my immediate future though

For me personally. If I had a choice I would probably ean towars a laptop ovr here. Since I'v ben using my huuuuuuuggge tower(s) over here and on other desktop for my all around pourposes. Yes they are easy access like what therealtodd had mntioned there. But Sinc I ned to do a lot of programming and be on th go for what ever elese there. I would probably stick with a laptop over here. But we all have our own good points and bad points it depends on what you want to do with it.

VROOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!

To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.

I like both Desktop and Laptop.

Desktops are better for being faster, cheaper, and eaiser to upgrade. Laptops though have portability.

I choose to get a laptop for college for it's portability. That has been the biggest plus for me. My laptop, along with my Wacom tablet, has become my own portable digital sketchpad and entertanment center. Sure, my laptop might not have the same processing power or hardrive space a powerful Desktop has, but the portability aspect greatly makes up for it. I love that I can take my data anywhere I go and can work on it at anytime and anywhere.

The best thing is with having both is you can have a Laptop and Desktop combination by hooking the two up.on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill onlinewhere to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

Both. Though, I'd like a laptop when I'm not feeling too well and want to work on stuff (html) but don't want to sit up at the desk. @_@order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pillabortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

my preference: the desktop PC in my bedroom.

reason: out of all the [many] computers in my house, it is the only one that can play doom 3, and play doom 3 WELL. I have half life 2 installed on another computer, but that's only just playable.
I have no reason for a laptop. my computer is the ultimate powerhouse. that's all i need.
