HOLY COW - I FOUND IT!
I FINALLY found it!
Sorry - I know you've got the whole 80's cartoon thing starting, Astrozombbie!!!, but this is just TOO 80's not to post!
I found my Max Headroom photo from 1986!
That's me, my sophomore year in high school, on Halloween day! I was HUGE in to Max Headroom before the prime time TV series of the same name debuted almost a year later on network television. I LOVED the Coke commercials!
And here's a waaaay younger me, with VERY stiff and VERY bright yellow hair!
This is The Re-Re-Re-Reel Todd, broadcasting live and direct from 9-9-9-9 1986. Greetings, Program-gram-gram-grams!

Thanks!
You know - it took a looooooooong time to get all that stuff out of my hair! Even directly under the shower, I remember it taking a while to soften up before I could start to wash it out.
And since Max was really only known for his Coke commercials at that time (by most anyway), I was mistaken for one of the Blues Brothers by some of the teachers that passed by me in the hall at school that day.

Yes - I remember that!
Believe it or not, I never got to see it back in the 80's. We didn't have cable (or MTV) when that was in TV circulation (which it wasn't in circulation for long). I used to hear the audio on the radio from time to time, but never got to see the video until... just a couple of years ago when I downloaded it. Better late than never!
I still have it on my PC. Cool video... but then again, anything Max is cool to me! where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

But... you know what?
I thought I had another me-as-Max Headroom photo, where my mouth was open. I'm not sure what my mouth is doing there - looks kind of weird.
Yes, there WAS another Max photo! I came across this one completely by accident though. I have no clue where the good one is. Oh well - better than nothing!
It was really a trip down memory lane when I came across this photo - it was in an old photo album I unburied in the basement. There are a lot of photos from my high school days of me in various plays and stuff. Ahhh - I miss the 80's!

Ahh - the Super Friends!
I used to watch that EVERY Saturday morning with my younger brother back in the day.
But I never understood those damn Wonder Twins very much. The one would always turn in to something stupid like an ice ladder or a bucket of water... and the other, would always turn in to... a purple gorilla or purple elephant! What exactly can a purple gorilla do with a bucket of water that will save the day? Of course, they never did save the day!

And the Thunder Cats!
Funny thing - a co-worker and myself were just talking about this show the other day at work. And for some reason, the word "Snarf" seems to pop up around the office at times. Hmm.
I was a teenager when this show was on, but I still enjoyed it. They played it in the afternoon, around the time I'd get home from school, so I'd often watch it.
"Sword of Omens, give me sigt behond sight"
Ahh yes - that good old Sword of Omens and all it's wonderful powers!
"Thunder... Thunder... Thunder Cast - HOOOOOOO"
LOVED that part! He he he.
That was when the Thunder Cats Bat-signal would display and the Thunder Cats would gather to fight the evil forces of Mumra and his... mummy pals... who's names I forget at the moment. Good old Mumra. I can't remember exactly why he had it out for the Thunder Cats, but he sure didn't like them very much.
I didn't like the show as much when they brought in those annoying younger Thundercat twins and Snarf's uncle. The show wasn't as good then.

You know, it's odd. I am looking at all these cartoons and thinking... these aren't the cartoons I watched in the 80's. Then I realized that the cartoons *I* watched in the 80's were from much earlier.
I watched a LOT of Buggs Bunny and Looney Tunes cartoons. I also watched Scooby Doo and Flintstones and a lot of other Hanna Barbara cartoons.
I remeber that some Japanese cartoons like Voltron were on, but I didn't quite get them at that time. To me the animation seemed choppy and I didn’t understand why their mouths didn’t match the voices. However, NOW I can fully relate to and appreciate anime.
Anyway, that's my odd 80's cartoon story. I lived then, but didn't watch them from that era
