Remote Access node.

on Saturday, January, 22, 2005 9:57 PM
I had a quick question here. And I know I was just checking Red's web site before I post over here. Being a late coming for the game tron 2.0 game. I'm stucl at a particular poijnt. And I was hoping that someone might remember the game very well here. I'm at the remote access node. I'm missing a a privilage Somewhere along the lines here. And I can't figure out within the sarea there where iots located at. Its to unlock the security clamps that I'm working on in the game. And I'm plain clueless on where to look for this.

To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.

Try this, Compucore:

http://db.gamefaqs.com/computer/doswin/file/tron_20.txt
It's a TRON 2.0 walkthrough. I used this one myself a few times. It helped a lot. But I recommend ONLY reading the parts of the walkthrough when you're stuck. If you read too much, you'll spoil the fun of discovering what's around the next corner in the game.

I hope this helps.

Yeah, sorry . . . I've been working on many other things, so I haven't done any new walkthroughs in quite a while. They take a long time to write.

I will get them all done, some day. I should have a couple of new ones ready in the next week or so.

Thats okay Red it happens too all of us from time to time. We all get caught up in other projects around here.

Todd I've tried the link there that you have posted up. Looks like I need to open an account there in order to take a look into it there. I'll try this afternoon to create an account with them to take a look into it. Cause that's where I'm stuck for the moment in Tron 2.0. I'm just going through the game itself over all look from the game. Then when I am done. I'm going to go through with it with a fine tooth comb to enjoy every minute of it the other times. So I can create a Walk through like what you have and whats out there with the hint book that was available at one pint as well. Something for me to work on in my spare time over here.

Hmm. I just tried the link again and it went right in to the text file walkthrough. I don't have an account there either.

Oh well - not sure what the deal is.

I hope you don't mind, but I went ahead and e-mailed you the walkthrough. I used the e-mail on your web site.

Enjoy!

I think I know what I did. I did click on the link but gave me the error as for retrieving it from them/. But when doing a cut and paste into another browser it came in fine. Just that when you link it from another site they tend to find it unusual there. So that is why I was having the problem.

Everything is fine now.

Yeah some sites are like that. I was lucky enough that I remeber to do a cut and paste into another web browser and everything was fine after that. I actually finished the game this evening there. And like what most people said here the ending was ind of a disappointment there. I was expecting a better ending to it. But I do like the cut scenes there in it. Good detailing to it. Just too bad they are not going to make extension to it. I think it would have been nice. But like what most others had said here. There will be no extensions to it.

Or even a sequel to this. Which would have made some sense to it. But The figures are not there by BGI stanards to do so. Since they didn't do their homework properly with this game.

I'm sure if we were to do something like this ourselves here from Tron-sector it might have been done differently here. Comng from the fact that we all have our good talents here. Davetron being in Q&A, Sketch you and a few others here are great artists. Myself being a programmer/Orfacle Database specialist here.

Going to go through the gamne several more times on it with the different levels and all that. And trying to do things differently on the levels there.
