My interview went great. I am a perfect fit for this job. It's building a QA department from the ground up for a company that gives a damn about it's employees.
The person I interviewed with knew my former boss and shared a few horror stories similiar to my own.
Next round should be next week, but all signs are good so far. I really feel good about it. This could be a very short break between jobs for me!

If so then everything will be a go. You'll know by the end of the second interviw then. ANd yes it was a very small vacation for you betwen jobs there. At least you got a few days off there. And gave you some time to rest up there. Which comapny is this if I may ask Davetron? What software do theydvelop? Jut out of curiousity? Or is strictly for business purposs?

Hey - that's great!
So far so good.
Having the opportunity to build a QA department from the ground up would be a very fulfilling experience for you, I'm sure. You'd be free to do what you do best, and get it done right!

I really don't want to say where I am interviewing just yet. I'll let you know details if I get it, or even if I don't.

I built a team at Activision, and I tried to build a team at BVG despite constant cutting , but this is definitely something I am good at. If they choose to hire me, they will be very happy they did. I'm really psyched about the possibility.

I've realized while I have been off work that there are not a lot of options out there for someone in a focused area like me. Going back into QA, but in a slightly different type of gaming environment will be a challenge, but a fun one. It's what I am good at.
Now all I have to do is get the job.

Thats totally cool. And I do respect that. Once you do have the job I know you'll give us the good news about it and what the company is as well. Like what Kmon has said there. If you do get the job there and they need external beta testers You have some Babetrons and guys to back you up externally to sign up for thm.

That's a lot of interviewing!
But, it's a good sign that they're giving you all that attention. It gives you plenty of opportunities to shine and impress them, as I'm sure you will!

6 interviews. 10 AM PST to 1 PM PST.
I think I am prepped for this. I'm only a little nervous and I pray I am their top candidate after this.
