A Question about Fullmetal Alchemist

on Wednesday, January, 05, 2005 10:49 AM
KiaPurity, I'm lookin' at you.

Okay, so I know how Edward got his moniker (the king gave it to him) but I still don't quite understand the significance. Can anyone enlighten me?

...hi!

I'd guess that it has to do with how Ed brought his brother back and the fact that he himself has metal leg and arm to replace the limbs that he lost.

...in short: Ed and Al tried to bring their mother back. Al lost his body while Ed lost his leg. Ed freaked out when Al disappeared and used his own blood to make a seal on the suit of armor, sacrificing his arm to bring Al back.

The anime and the manga is just too awesome, but there's one little problem. The anime went into production while the manga was still being worked on, so they do go into two very different directions at one point in the manga.

Although, the manga just now got licensed by Viz so I won't be able to see much of it past volume 8, chapter 1 of it. ^^; (It was scanned and translated by two groups before they had to stop due to it being licensed unoffically. Viz didn't say anything about them having the manga but there were several sources that said that Viz licensed it.)where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

Viz: could it just be rumor? Scanalations were my best means of reading it! T_T I'd hate to see it go!

*ahem* I know the story, silly. I was just wondering what the inside joke was. Alphonse is full metal, not Edward, so why call Ed the "Fullmetal"?

My only guess was that Edward is a Full Fledged Alchemist, and a Metal Alchemist, so the King just brought them together to make "Fullmetal", or something.

Okay, enough of this. Back to discussions about . order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pill

Whoops. XP

Though, it could be helpful for other people who've heard of the title and might peer in this thread. ^^;;

I still think it had something to do with bringing Al back.

...because Roy is called The Flame Alchemist since he specializes with flames. There's that one Sewing Life Alchemist... er... I'm not saying much on that.

...and ohgod Armstrong. ;________; His SPARKLIES.

*ahem* Anyway, yeah, Ed uses the metal on his arm to form a sword to fight with... so maybe he has some form of mastery over metal forms... *ponder*

I was thinking that too. It seems that Ed's mastery would be over metal. THen again, he has done a lot of other things. We shall see.

By the way, I have Trigun, Last Exile, Cowboy Bebop & Excel Saga. Any suggestions on what DVD set I should collect next? ^_^order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill
