So, I was watching Tron on my new PC DVD player -- yes, I've seen it twice now in the past 3 days -- and watched the deleted love scene (the morning after). There isn't any audio, which has always bummed me out, but has anyone figured out what they're saying?
When I was watching it last night, I was thinking to myself there are professional lip readers that could probably figure out what they're saying for us. The government uses them, for example; so I knew it was possible. BUT then I zoomed in and I think I figured out what is mostly said. Maybe you all knew, but I didn't (or had forgotten); so I thought I'd post this.
I feel Yori mumbles something and then says, "It's time to go." Tron, in sync with her "time to go" part also says, "Time to go."
Although I can't figure out the first part of what Yori says, I now feel a lot more at ease with not having audio in that scene. I thought I'd share, in case there were others that were curious. Let me know if you happen to know everything Yori says.
PS: Looks like I need to find that ReelTodd *Tron ping* thread so I can update it to reflect my two recent viewings of Tron. Anyone know where it's at?

Find the Tron scripts and maybe that might work. I have one sitting on my compy if you're interested. I'm not sure if it's the right script though. ^^;;
I think it goes something like this (Please bear with me) :
CUT TO:
314 INT. YORI'S APARTMENT 314
As Tron and Yori enter. The apartment appears to be a box, with one
window overlooking the cityscape, and the I/0 Tower. At first it
looks empty, with strange murals of one dimensional furniture on the
walls and floors.
YORI
My quarters.
TRON
Why is everything...like this?
YORI
It's a flat. But wait a micro...
She lays her palm on the wall near the door. The door reappears, and
a glow starts to fill the room, softly, slowly. Tron looks around;
the flat paintings of furniture are expanding, filling out, becoming
three-dimensional. The room glows a soft rose color, becomes
charming, soothing. It is still small and limited, but the light in
the air and the few pieces of furniture give off a loving, seductive
aura. Tron turns back to Yori, smiling, and stops.
315 HIS POV 315
With her hand still on the wall panel, she is glowing absorbing
extra energy, changing. The severe work clothes metamorphosize into
shimmering, diaphanous drapery, twinkling with thousands of
diamond-like points of light. A silvery tinkling SOUND comes from
her robes as she moves forward; her beautiful face, now surrounded
by a soft mane of hair, glows with pleasure at the expression in
Tron's face. She smiles lovingly, and reaches out her hand.
YORI
Come here.
316 TRON 316
His face tells the story. The fugitive, returned from long exile, is
being fully rewarded for his efforts.
TRON
You're beautiful, Yori.
317 SHOT OF THEM BOTH 317
as their hands touch, and the glow springs out between their
flattened palms.
Tron pulls her close to him, sliding his hand up her arm, leaving a
glowing trace, and her hands move up over his chest.
YORI
You've grown, big program.
TRON
I had to...in the games...
They move together into an embrace, but their lips never touch. All
the energy is transmitted through their hands. They sink down onto
what looks like cushions made of stars, their glow increasing. The
room fills with the brilliance of the energy they are giving each
other, and we hear their sighs, as the MUSIC comes up. Each of them
moves their hands over the other, moving slowly, as if they were
trying to touch the other's entire body at once. They roll over and
are enveloped in the cloud of stars...
SLOW, SLOW DISSOLVE TO:
318 EXT. AIRCRAFT CARRIER 318
hovering in the air above the factory city, moving slowly forward.
ZOOM OUT past the carrier towards the landscape beyond.
CUT TO:
319 EXT. CITY - L0NG SHOT 319
A slightly out

Thanks for posting, Kamui! It's great to see all that information and all those cool descriptions of the scene! Unfortunately, there's nothing there (that I see) in regards to "the morning after" scene... and all the quotes used in that script are not really what got used in the film. Well, it doesn't on my 20th Anniversary DVD version of it. Does your's??
There are two parts, under two separte links, to the "Deleted Love Scene." The first part has audio, which I'm not referring to. The second part (" The Morning After") has no audio and there's even some intro text to the scene when you access it saying the " audio tracks for this scene do not exist."
Thus, the mystery continues... where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill onlineabortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

Okay. There were 4 version of that script and I only have the one and I'm not sure what version that is. But I'll keep looking. I guess that's one version of those scenes.

I can't tell for sure because I'm deaf. I was so miffed with the extras not being captioned. I really wanted to see what they had to say. *sigh* Kia: Cool. I'm a infamous mythological perfect User.

There are two parts to the love scene, the actual 'Love Scene' and then the 'Morning After' scene. To date, nobody has found the audio for the 'Morning After' sequence so it remains silent.
I'll take a look at the scripts I have to see if I can get the words.
I actually asked Cindy about this once and she'd do the lines if we wanted to make a fan version with the audio back in. Too bad nobody here is close to Bruce to see if he'd do his part. It'd be fun to restore it the 'Fan Way'abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

I didn't know. I guess you learn something new everyday.
^^;;
Anyways, I think there's software bundled with the the Windows XP (Funny how XP looks like the digicon to this: ) where is you mute the sound while watching a DVD or even TV for that matter and the captions automatically pop up. I've done it a few times. But since there's no audio tracks for that scene, I'm a little doubtful here.
Looks like DaveTRON and the rest of us are going to have to find all-pro lip readers.

I never really comment on my deafness. >>;;; Just more like it's no big deal kind of thing. XP
Anyoo, it'd be hard to find a professional lip reader because that is /hard/ to lipread. (I've had lip reading practice with my speech therapy (I have a bad deaf accent that makes it hard for people to understand me. ))
There's many letters that look alike... and others you just can't see. So it's really more of a guessing game for me. >_< Kia: Cool. I'm a infamous mythological perfect User.

I've gotten in to trouble with a deaf person once. He thought I was treating him like a baby when I was really trying to be helpful. it turns out that he uses his "deafness" to hastle me and the rest of the staff. He tried to get me in trouble for it but got some flak himself from the higher-ups. He was scared of me for weeks. I just saw him again recently and what I did was smile and nod at him. He looked very confused at first but then returned the gesture. It might have been one of the first times someone has done that for him. I was supprised that he actually returned the gesture! So whenever someone metions that they are deaf, it's a very big deal to me because I really don't want to offend them. When that guy mentioned to me that he was going to report what I did, it almost gave me a heart attack. So I always worry about how to be more helpful to the deaf.
But anways, I came up with this idea during lunch. Kia, we might be able to use your lib reading skills to provide a clue as to what is being said. Even if you catch a little dialogue, odds are that it'll be enough to match it with the right script. Are you up for that, Kia? Because if you're not, you don't have to do it.
Again, my two bits.

I'm tempted - trust me!
But in all seriousness, I'm currently all wrapped up in what I've dubbed "the never ending project", so anything other than a 1-day quickie project probably won't get played with any time soon. Then again... that might be all that's needed add said style of music to the deleted love scene... hmmm...where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

Well! The last thing I want is to be on the wrong end of an angry fully-loaded Kia. We'd all be doomed! (Homestar ref here.)
Okay.... well.... you don't have to stress yourself out on this one. Even if you just get a little bit, it might be enough to work.
