Scuzzy Wroteo you know what I remember? In my cmoputer science class when I was in 9th grade the teacher brought in this camera and tripod and he took his picture and put it on the computer! It was the most advanced thing we'd ever seen! Granted, it was all in black & amber and in something like 100x100 resolution or something super-pixilated like that, but it was still very cool.

Cool. What type of computer and how was the camera hooked up?
I wonder what we're all going to say (or our grand-kids) 20 years from now. |
Back in our day we not only had to walk uphill both ways to get to school, we had no computers or cell phones.

Don't forget Corruption. It was in the middle of winter, in our bare feet. And the only tools that we had were the ppens and paper. With some pencils in a spare drawer. Using one of those slide rules to help with calculations there. And no calculators either too bulky when we were in school.
And gal darn it we were happy on top of that.

To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.

It was an Atari computer and the camera looked like a VCR camera. It was hooked up with this huge cable that went into what I seem to remember (it was only 20 years ago) was the parallel port.

Probably the same things I'm saying to my sis (Who caught the very tail end of the C64 craze. She doesn't even remember them). I'm quite enthusiatic when I talk about the C64. Ah! Yes! The memories!

Remember when the COmmodore came out with the vic 20 and then the C64 and later on the 128. I remember that when I was young there. It was something like right around when Tron came out back then.
