Oooo - COOL!
I just passed foilism! I beat him by two posts now. I'm number 10 YAY!!
And, I'm now only 846 posts away!
I know - that was a sad excuse for a post, just after my other one like that. But I worked it good!

It's only been a week since I hit 1600 posts, and now I am approaching 1700 posts. Only 10 to go. It looks like I might have the 1700 club all to myself for a while too.

Being out of work and arguing with Doug Jacoby does wonders for the post count. I'd happily sacrifice some numbers if it meant Doug was not here. DaveTRON

Kia,
All I can say is that I am glad the worst we got was a little hail out here. I could not live where you do, I think I am allergic to ice and snow! DaveTRON

No more ice storms, so far.
Hoping the ice would melt on the trees so I can finally sleep in my room again! (I have a tree under my bedroom window... so I had to sleep elsewhere.)

I'm sitting in my cozy little house and watching it fall.
A very loud clap of thunder woke me this morning and shook my house. I thought it was a quake. I went into action mode fro about 10 seconds before my wife giggled at me an said "It's thunder!".

We get a lot of those over here too during the summer. If you're sitting in the right area and watching the right spot, you can see some really interesting things. That's why photographers love this stuff so much.
Of course, I do recall one storm that got so bad that the sky turned green and we almost had a tornado. Normally, you could almost never get the right conditions for a tornado until that day. Tornados around where I live is almost a non-occurance. it was definately interesting to watch. I've never seen anything quite like that before.

Somehow, a tornado like that only has a nasty habbit of turning up in my nightmares despite the fact that I'm not scared of them. I usually end up getting sucked up in the end. Do you think my subconsious is trying to tell me something here? ^^;;;
