Merry christmas!

I got quite a bit of loot. ^^;

c/p'd from my LJ:

Sapphire earrings from mom. (They match the ring Silver got me. )
Kill Bill volume 1 and 2 from my older sister. (I guessed correctly, but I didn't know she would get me both. o_o)
Fuzzy purple slippers from my brother. (They're comfortable, bwahaha.)
Unleashed and Vacation expansions from Dad. (Woot, I can buy rest of 'em. )
High Score! second edition. (Awesome book with video games/consoles/computer stuff in it. *geekyhappy*)
A calendar (Japanese woodblock prints. )
Upgraded computer from Silver. (New cpu! New heatsink! Now my computer can quit crashing with some games. XP)
Two items that I listed on the grocery list... my family = crazy.

Kia: Cool. I'm a infamous mythological perfect User.

Merry Christmas and/or Happy Holidays to all!

Wanted to post something special for Christmas this year, but didn't get it done, so I will hold onto it for next year.

Had a nice holiday though. You may have seen my video of my niece getting into the TRON arcade games by now. That was a great gift to me.

My wife gave me a very nice Dremel set. A couple of years ago she gave me the Pop Up Book of Phobias, and this year she gave me the Pop Up Book of Nightmares and the Pop Up America The Beautiful. Both of which are amazing books to look at. Got a few gift cards too, and TRONProgram gave me a cool Thunderbird 2 model.

Spent part of today with Syd Mead and his partner Roger Servick at their Christmas party. Had a fine time there. They are wonderful people and they have a lot of very nice frieinds too.

Overall a great holiday.

Happy Holidays!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dave, we have to wait a full 12 months before we get to see the special post?? *sniff* *sniff* Naww, that's okay, I understand!!

I had a good Christmas, too. Last night I spent X-Mas Eve with my family, where we exchanged gifts and played games. I'm going to the Seahawks game tomorrow, so that should be fun! Hopefully they can squeak out a win.

I've been so busy the past couple couple weeks working on a piece of art, at every opportunity I could. Last night, I decided to put my nose to the grindstone and get this thing DONE. So, after my family get-together got over with last night at about 1am, I came home and stayed up until about 930am to finish it! DOH! Pretty much ended up staying awake 24 hours. I just had to get this thing finished! I'm sorry it's not Tron-related, but I thought you all might like to see it anyways.

It's a pretty dark picture (brightness-wise), so it's best viewed in the dark, on a black background. I've made it my computer desktop wallpaper If you can barely see it, you might try turning the brightness up on your monitor a tad.order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

Got some sweet gifts this year. Didn't expect to get so much this year. Here's a few that just rock...

The Iron Giant Special Edition DVD (Love the Giant you must!)
Nightmare Before Christmas Special Edition DVD
AC/DC live at Donington DVD *does air guitar*
The Cars Shake it up and other hits CD
The Who 20th Century Masters CD. (Is playing track 10 "Won't Get Fooled Again" right now)
The A-Z of Art book(This mini book covers 386 of the world's greatest artists from medieval to present day)
Christmas with Norman Rockwell book(I'm a Norman Rockwell fan)

Now for the gifts that made the top 3 list:

#3: Robosapian. This robot is just freakin amazing. It's designed by a guy that worked at NASA. This bot can walk, talk, dance, burp, and fart. Yes you read that right, he can burp and fart. None of my other robots do that, so he just earned super special points on my robot list. HA! You have to see this thing in action! He even makes little Kung Fu noises when he throws his arms and stuff. It's incredible! I love this robot!

#2: Kodak Easy Share DX4530 5.0 mega pixel digital camera complete with docking station and assecory kit. This camera rocks and is such a great update from the HP camera. You remember that one Dave? Heh heh.

And finally... *Drumroll*

#1: Wacom Graphire.3 4x5 inch Digital Drawing tablet! Should be pretty easy to understand why this one earned first place. Oh the possiblities I see now on the old digital horizion. I can really expand my art now with this digital drawing tablet. I can't wait to load this thing up to my laptop! *Hugs still packaged Wacom tablet*

Oh yeah...
I'm cooking up a present for the tron-sector members here. Might be a little while before it's done though, but wanted to throw that knowledge out to you all. Hope everyone had a great Christmas!

Happys holidays once again. We had a great time over here...one of the coolest things i got is the art of electronics by Paul Horowitz and Winfield Hill. If you want to learn about electronics and circuits get this book ! Geek shirts are always a plus too Also I got these nifty plush microbes (like stuffed animals). So my folks gave me an ulcer, then halitosis, then a flesh eating disease lol. The family also pitched in working on getting the theator in downstairs, we have almost all of the electrical done and the framing is up minus the doors

Dave i love those pop up books! Moms been giving them to me and, erm...'borrowing' them for months at a time

Have fun everyone and party responsible through the new year.

Sketch,

If 20th Century Masters is the only Who you own, then you are not experieincing them properly.

I suggest 30 Years of Maximum R&B which gives an excellent overall view of their history. You can bag it cheap on eBay. Then dig into the entire Who's Next album.

I also highly recommend these albums to know The Who:

- By Numbers
- Who Are You
- Quadrophenia
- From The Blues To The Bush Live
- Tommy
- Face Dances
- Live At Leeds
- Empty Glass (Pete Solo)
- Too Late The Hero (John Solo with Joe Walsh from The Eagles)
- McVicar Soundtrack (Roger Solo with Who help on some tracks)
- Live at Royal Albert Hall DVD (John's basscam solo on 5:15 is worth the price alone)
- 911 Tribute Concert DVD - The Who were amazing on this.

I have an extensive Who collection, and I may need to send you some proper educational materials if you are new to The Who.

That's pretty cool! What did you use to create it? You should think about putting it on deviantart.com and selling prints

Cool. Yeah, I'm a little new to The Who band. It's just been lately that I have been tracking down songs that I like off the radio. The music stores here don't carry squat. Did The Who also do the song "Teenage Wasteland?" Been wanting to find that song.

That's a great image Traahn. Is it 3D or 2D?
I'm going to have to get used to the way the digital pad handels. Is different from regualr pencil and paper. Should get the hang of it eventually.

'Teenage Wasteland' is not the title, the song you seek is 'Baba O'Riley'. Yes, I see an education in the making.

So that's the title. Cool.
As long as your method for educating dosen't involve strapping me to a chair and duct tapping my eyelids open, then I can learn Dave.

DAMN! I must revise my plans!

How do you feel about duct taping headphones to your noggin and blasting 'Young Man Blues' into your head?

Look for a disc in the mail later this week with some gems on it. Can you do DVD on your laptop?where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

Really? You can do that on deviantart?? I'll have to look into that. But considering I did this concept artwork for a video game mod, I'm not sure this would be a suitable piece to sell. What you say is good to know for the future, though! Thanks!

2D. I drew the image in PhotoShop, using my Wacom tablet. It is difficult to get used to the tablet, but keep trying... it'll come naturally in no time. After off-and-on use for a week or two, the tablet became quite natural to use. If I was very diligent and used it for hours on end for the first couple days I had it, I'm sure I would've picked it up even quicker.

The headphone idea sounds better and safer than the eye tapping idea.
Yeah, my laptop can run DVDs. I love that feature.
