And it was AWESOME!
I'm already anxious for another sequel or at least an expansion pack.
Anybody else who has finished it and wants to discuss the ending, post here.on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill online

no discussing the ending it will spoil it for people....lets just say the game gets better twords then end Their are several rumors about an expansion pack over the next year or so. I know that valve has way more material (textures and entities) then they used in hl2. Just watch the older videos, either their were problems implemented some of these bit and pieces or they are saving them Worse case their are some really interesting mods in the works.

Can't wait for it to come to the PS2. The port to the PS2 for the first game was excellent.

Oh man the ending was the freakiest part!
I like the ending because it leaves everything open and closes the door on nothing. Which is great, because I'm chomping at the bit for another sequel, which I've read is currently in production.
I've also read that at least one expansion pack is being worked on, and that both Opposing Force and Blue Shift will be ported to the Source engine.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

Frankly, the Half-Life games were meant to be played on a PC. The console experience just wouldn't be the same.

I disagree. The PS2 version was excellent. I don't see why they couldn't port it to the PS2 or PS3, unless it comes down to contractural obligations or money (Like with Tron 2.0 and the PS2).

The PS2 just doesn't have powerful enough hardware for HL2. But the PS3 would.
That's why I'm also surprised they're bothering with an Xbox version of HL2, it's not powerful enough either. They should've done an Xbox 2 version instead.

I don't think the PS2 has the power HL2 needs, but the Xbox does.
It will be far easier to port HL2 to the Xbox (since it's basically PC) than it would be to port it to the PS2. True, the Xbox is slightly below the minimum recommended specs for HL2, but there shouldn't be the need to make anything more than very minor changes to the Source engine, and providing some of the special effects are turned down or off, the Xbox should have no problems providing a great HL2 experience.
Also, all Xboxes have a HDD. There won't be any concerns about the cost of an add-on HDD limiting sales of the game.
If they really want to boost sales, they can likely include HL:Source (and the coming Source ports of Opposing Force and Blue Shift) for the Xbox with only a little effort. That would be an awesome deal for Xbox owners.

I agree... With the concels being limited, the game exp wont be as good as the PC... but the X-Box may be the best choice to play since it shouldn't be too hard to port the game.... and the tech is a bit above PS2 (or at least that is what I read).
I didn't care much for the first HL game... In fact, I didn't like it much at all. However, HL2 has got to be the best FPS I've played in years... It's better than DOOM 3 and has a great story behind it.
This is a "Must Own" for your PC gamming collection... But "STEAM SUCKS"... Ohhhhhhhhhh I Hate STEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm still on sucky dial up and it took me forever to upgrade (since I was unable to play the game unless I did so).... But what if I install it to a lab top that isn't connected to the net (without upgrade)... If it wasn't for HL2 to be as good as it is, I almost would have started a hate page for steam.... Steam wants to run as a back ground program, but you can turn it off line if you with (only good feature)...
But it is worth the troubble... Good game

steam rocks for me, I've have almost no problems....I was playing hl2 just after midnight on launch day I know some people have issues with it, and if you are on a 56k con those 5+gb dls can be rough lol.
As for if the xbox has enough emough to push hl2. Its got a 250mz gfx card and only 64mb of ram. Thats still impressive for a cons but hl2 wont be so happy on it.
Even on my 3ghz machine with a x800 i see frame drops now and then. I can understand them wanting to expand their market and all, but I hope they dont...water down the hl2 experiance. The issue with doing a xbox2 or ps3 is that your a year + down the road. Hl2 will be old news then... maybe they will do an exapansion pack and throw in some of the new content.
any one else looking forward too dod:s. I have high expectations for that game/mod

There's no way my comp can handle HL2 at full blast.
