Here is the first part of chapter one. I am basically wanting to get back into writing and I am flexing my knuckles on this piece.
Just FYI, I haven't played Tron 2.0 so I am not up to date with what happened in that storyline. This story takes place between the original Tron and Tron 2.0 so I may make some mistakes and trod on plot lines outlines in 2.0 For that I apologize.
Please be brutally honest, but not honestly brutal  I am looking for helpful criticism. Also, please let me know if you're interested in me continuing the story.

Yeah, without a doubt continue it!
I took a stab at the "make a Tron 2.0 script" thread that you can read http://www.tron-sector.com/forums/default.aspx?do=top&id=212658&pg=2, just for fun, and found that the Tron Universe really does open itself up to new experiences and stories.
I really like the concept of upgrades being "painful" for programs, which makes a great deal of sense, since their code is being re-written and that code is what makes up their form.
It'd be like having your DNA re-coded, which I'm sure wouldn't be a pleasant experience!
Rock, rock on, Cheat Commando. Keep on with the story!

Don't take it that way Boingo. I keep meaning to go in and read the stories, but I always get distracted. I am sure others might not realize it's there.
Let me put up a banner on the news and lets see if we can get you some feedback.

Well, BB, I liked what I saw. It's well written, captivating, and hey, it's about  
I've been reading fanfiction for some 5 years now and I know better than getting my hopes up on the first chapter.. but I do hope you'll keep up, I'd like to see more of the Lost Node (I'm a sucker for ancient civilization stories) and the P2P programs. it's an interesting idea (what color are they btw? I pictured 'em gold)
As a side note, and forgive me if I sound harsh, it's bad form for a fanfic author to "whine"  . You're right. I was basically in one of my moods, and feeling sorry for myself. I posted without thinking and feel like an ass because of it.
Thanks Dave and others for showing more understanding and maturity than I did in this situation and I apologize for acting the way I did.

I´m interested, you must continuing the story.

Yes, don't give up. I think it was very cool! Any lack of comments on a thread doesn't imply it's bad.
EDIT: There's a line that says this:

Is this supposed to be rouge, or rogue? Either one could, theoretically, apply (as Sark is kind've "rouge" colored ) so I thought I'd mention.

Your story was the first thing I saw on this site. It's cool to see the spirit of Tron still kicking, and your computer knowledge is a cool touch. Please keep the story going!
