Hi everyone. I'm sort of a casual tron fan, and I discovered this place by way of a google search. I've been lurking for a few months now and it seems like a pretty fun place, so I decided to join.

I have gotten 2.0915 times smarter since the first movie.
Did anyone think why Flynn never met Pac Man or the giant orange in the first movie?
You guys know that Pac Man does appear in the first Tron Movie right?
I just never understood that at the end of Tron Flynn just runs off into the sunset.
I would have been like "Holy Crap did you guys know what I found in my CPU!!"

In your classic good vs. evil movies, the good guy always rides off into the sunset...you did not know this?

Alan helped him but it was still unauthorized by Encom and its C.E.O..
I always got the impression that Flynn some how got his memory erased perhaps since he was in the beam diverting it when he got digitized back into human form?
I mean if you where digitized into Encoms game program wouldn't you call the President of the United States or alert Encom (now that you are head of the company) to stop all digitizing laser research because people could get killed playing real Encom video games?
Now that we are on the subject:
Did it really take one game file to topple Dillinger?
I mean why didn't Dillinger copy the hidden file onto a zip disk and store it in an Encom vault?

What happened was a fluke. MCP's not around anymore, so no one could have been digitalized again. And besides, I don't think anyone ever had plans to digitalize humans into computers at that point! =P

Encom can and still has digitizing technology.
The laser is still there it did not blow up with the MCP.

A shown in Tron 2.0, to safely digitize a human (or most other things, I do believe) you need a very advanced set of "correction algorithims". These algorithims account for the complexity of humans (and other stuff) and if they aren't in place, then the person or object in question will be horribly corrupted. (Thorne, for instance) Flynn could be digitized because the MCP was advanced enough to do the same job as the algorithims himself. Thus, after the MCP was destroyed the ability to safely digitize was lost. It was not until 20 years later (Tron 2.0 storyline) when Ma3a's correction algorithims were completed, and users could be digitized safely.
