James Clyne did some concept work for a possible TRON 2.0 film a few years ago. I realized the images weren't on this site, so I am adding them to that section of the image galleries. These are copied from Mr. Clyne's web site.

DaveTRON, maybe you've heard more, but I remember on the Tron 20th Anniversary DVD documentary that Lisberger made the comment that Tron 2.0 would have a style that perhaps was a fusion of technology and organic design. Is that still on track, or has that changed in the past year?

All I can tell you is this. There is no new news about TRON 2.0 the movie. Many ideas, no plans. wish I knew more, and better, news.

Thanks for the insight, as always, to Disney.
I'm sad that there is no update with regards to a sequel, but hopefully the games will sell and get the name back out into the pop culture world.
I know MANY people who would be interested in seeing what today's technology would bring to a brand new Tron story!
I just hope that Lisberger doesn't give up hope.

From my discussions with Steven over the last year, he is very hopeful a second film will get made. It's getting Disney to run with an idea that's the hard part. time will tell.

Well, if he can keep his hopes up, there may be a light at the end of the long, dark tunnel.
Lisberger will be a key player in making a successful sequel, in my humble opinion.

I agree. It's his world, he should be the one to bring it back to life. Wish Disney had that POV, but they own the rights!
