This is a TRON mod I'm working on for Descent 3. It's still in the pretty early stages but I put up some screens to get the opinions of hard core TRON fans. Does it look cool/TRONish enough?
The map... (ignore the gray areas, they haven't been properly textured yet)

They look good to me as what you have done so far with the mods there. Keep up with the good work over there. Don't let up. Its going to be a good mod after your finished working with them.

Hey Tron Fanatic - that is indeed looking TRON-like!
I love when people blend in TRON with their creative interests. It's funny how TRON has inspired so much creative energy in so many people.
I'm looking forward to checking out the finished set of screen shots.

Heh, Todd - well it's about time I got around to actually doing something like this. I actually had the beginnins of a Tron mod for Duke Nukem 3D way back when, but decided it would've taken way too long for me to finish - this is before I even knew mod teams existed. In fact one of the weapons from the Duke mod made it's way into this - the energy shot with the funky rainbow rays coming out of it which is named the Derez-o-matic.
Mutoid Man, you been on multiplayer D3? What was your callsign? Perhaps we have seen each other before we were on the lightcycle grid. I was Syx.
Here's a couple new pics with a couple of the cooler transparent map effects working, along with the completed model for the tank shells. Fans will get a real kick out of firing this weapon and hearing the classic sounds. Oh, and like the film they're also ballistic
