Tron-Sector Errors. Am I the only one?

on Wednesday, November, 03, 2004 7:35 PM
I've gotten a few errors recently when I click "submit reply" after authoring a reply. Fortunately, I've learned to copy my text before clicking the Send button, but I wondered if I'm the only one getting errors? Since I copy the text, I just back arrow to the editing page and paste what I had written; but if I didn't do that all my typing would be lost. I'm on cable modem, so I'm not sure why I'd get these time-out errors. They occur only a couple seconds after hitting the Send button. Here's the latest one I got:

Server Error in '/' Application.

Yep. I've been getting that too.

TRON-Sector has been a bit on the glitchy side lately Sometimes I can't even get pages to load unless I click my refresh several times (and then wait a duration). It seems like the TRON-Sector server just doesn't want to serve at times

Yes, I've been getting that error, also, it seems that sometimes the images won't load. But it's okay. I don't mind a few glitches, just so the server stays up.order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

Hey, so I'm not the only one! the odd thing is, it happens only on the aging laptop with windows 98 I'm currently running in (PC under repair.. I sure miss my home ). No issues whatsoever on that one or the ones I use at work. I suspect it may be a flaw of an earlier version of IE.order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pill

It's not just the image gallery . . . I'm getting errors in the forum too. Must be grid bugs overruning the Tron-Sector server again.

Hey, I just sorted out something odd. When I got back form work yesterday, I became a tad suspicous of my mobile home's security (my laptop being not heavily armored with antivirus and firewall, unlike my desktop, since my User doesn't use it for internet connection). And sure thing, somehow a keylogger-adware had found its way in.

It was Sp.exe , and once removed the hard way (bugger couldn't match my disc , being a text editor is no excuse for skipping training ), the problem with the forum was gone.

Look, I'm not going to insult your intelligence by suggesting to use Ad-aware or updating your browser (or even better, switch to Firefox- now that's a nice fellow to hang around with ), only thought it could be useful info for the bugfixers.

Logging out..

There's a lot of problems here. The forum search dowsn't work at all and I can't change my password, I get an error message similar to what Traahn got. The password of mine is the original account password given to me by Tron-Sector, and it was quite hard to remember at first, but now I've gotten used to it anyway. It's something like lyusbdxg (this is not the real passoword, just an example)

Yes - it was VERY buggy last night (Sunday) when I was just trying to browse the forms. I'd get a click or two in to it, and then navigation didn't seem to want to work as I'd click on links and a whole lot of nothing. Close the browser, go to TRON-Sector.com again... and it would not even be available at all. Come back some time later, and then the same pattern. Bummer.

BTW - I like your new avatar, Lightforce

EDIT - Ok - now I'm getting the post error Corruption spoke of. I just had to close my browser, and come back and try to reply again! Grrrrr

Hitting refresh works for me (it warns of reposting data, but I have not had a double post yet)

Also like Traahn mentioned, hit ctrl-A ctrl-C to copy all text before you hit reply, if it messes up you can hit ctrl-V to paste it back in on next try

Thanks!

Actually I have been in the habit of copying my text BEFORE trying to post for some time. We all know how long winded I can be at times - it's a damn shame to just loose all that great input I have to offer... or pointless rambling, or however people take it

Thought I heard the sounds of gridbugs painfully dying by the thousands last night.

Can tell a difference in the way the forums are running. Great job!

Uh oh, I think the grid bugs are back!! I've gotten two errors tonight. One while trying to view Bill 'Sketch' Bynum's image gallery, and one while trying to get into the Collector I/O forum. Here's the one I got when trying to enter the Collector forum just now:

I've gotten a couple more errors. Here's the last one I got. I got this when clicking the "Current News" link in the left-hand toolbar...
