Yesterday, Jay Maynard (aka TRON Guy) sent me a video tape of all of his appearances on The Jimmy Kimmel Show. I have captured and edited all of them into separate clips.

I am working through Jay to find out if I can post those clips here at TRON Sector for the rest of you to see and appreciate. I am also trying to convince Jay to join us here.

I emailed Jay and asked him to send me your email address. I dropped off the film from the infamous, although yet to be seen, Date #5, and will be picking it up shortly.

Jay was also in town to host a showing of TRON at the Alamo Drafthouse Theatre here, and he was featured on our local TV station the next morning. He's asked me to send him a copy of that appearance. I'll be making a copy of the VHS tonight I hope.

(I know I've not been around lately... because I'm going crazy from college and working on a halloween costume. (Wish it was Tron-ish, but I don't have enough time to make one ))

Yes, they did edit it to appear we didn't do so well, but I had a wonderful time, and I'd like to think that Jay did too. I think part of the problem was the fact that our day was soooo long. We didn't get to finish off like the other dates with dinner, etc. So...I knew they'd have to find some other way to end the date. Maybe they figure two geeks can't have a nice date, who knows?

After the bit at the night club, they loaded us up in the limo for the ride back to the hotel(s), and the production crew was hauling it back to the studio I think. It was a tiring day, but I thought it was a lot of fun, and I don't know too many folks that can say they got to be chauffered by Johnny Rutherford around the California Speedway with the Tron Guy practically falling over in their lap. *chuckle* Yay for G-Forces.

I got some pics developed from the trip to California. I also saw Jay on the 19th when he came to Houston to debut the showing of the movie at the Alamo Drafthouse Theatre here. He introduced me to his parents (he's a spittin' image of his dad). I'll be sending Jay a copy of that pic, and he might post it on his site.
