I have a flight to New York next Saturday and I never get a good movie on the flight, so I figured out a way to fix that.
I got out my Archive Edition widescreen laserdisc and recorded the movie into my PC and then output a low resolution vesion to my hard drive and copied it to my PocketPC.
I now have the entire movie whenever I want! It's a little bit fuzzy, but it plays great and it is in widescreen!

I sure am!
But honestly, I'd expect you'd bring along your DVD and then charm a stewardess into playing it on the plane screen. So you could spend some quality time AND spread the word amongst the passengers
Clear skies program!

I do have my travelling DVD with me at all times too, so that's a possibility. If I hear enough loud complaints over the crappy movie I might suggest it.

That is too cool, having a portable version of Tron. If I were to take that on a trip though, I'd have to struggle between wanting to play Tron: Killer App on my GBA or watching the movie, both being equally cool.

Haaaaaaa!
How cool would that be?
Nobody likes the film they're showing on the flight, and so DaveTRON offers them his own copy of and EVERYONE just LOVES it! The people who ignored TRON in the theaters in '82 wonder why they passed it over. Kids who weren't even alive yet have found their NEW favorite movie. Corporate types who never even wanted to see TRON in the first place, have gone to great lengths not to crack a smile in the glory that is TRON, though they secretly LOVE it too!
Well, that would be cool anyway...
I still don't get it. How can ANYONE not enjoy TRON? Hmmm - the world may never know... well, the world that matters may never know
I dig the idea of you porting TRON on your Pocket PC DaveTRON. That's a great idea! What's better than having TRON in your own pocket, to rez up and enjoy ANYWHERE? abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

Now Dave, be careful with that pocket pc dude...
Just don't go asking any cute flight attendents "Want to see my Tron?"
That might get you slapped or thrown off the flight. https://www.flickr.com/photos/blue_bezel/ |

How about "Hey baby, wanna see something that glows?"
Well, c'mon, the screen glows on it's own, and then when TRON comes on it glows even more. Really, that's what I meant. I didn't mean anything else....really. DaveTRON

TheReelTodd, you painted a beautiful picture. May I dare to add a finishing touch with two or three emotional guys (you know, the ones who inevitably start screaming at the least turbolence) who cry in absolute, deep-gut delight

I'll be putting Tron on my new iPaq HX4700 sometime this week. It came with a free software download from HP so I chose an app called "DVD To Pocket PC"
Watch DVD's on your Pocket PC in full screen with stereo sound. This software squeezes a feature film onto a 128 MB memory card.
Turn your Pocket PC into a Pocket DVD Player. This software allows you to convert a DVD to your Pocket PC and watch it in great quality, with stereo sound and in full screen landscape mode. A memory card as small as 128 Mb is sufficient to store a full length feature film.
In contrast to competitive products, nothing needs to be installed on your Pocket PC, the movies run on the built-in Windows Media player! Take your DVD's on the plane, train or automobile; watch them on vacation, at work or at school. With only two clicks, this PC software automatically converts the content of your DVD to a super small movie file, which will play on any Windows Mobile 2003 device, such as your HP iPAQ Pocket PC, on a postage stamp size memory card.
The big advantage over competing software: there's no need to install special playback software on the Pocket PC, it works out of the box!
You can use a headset or the built-in speaker to listen to the sound. Subtitled and foreign language DVD's are also supported. Using Microsoft's supreme Windows Media 9 encoding, feature films look crisp and sharp on your Pocket PC and still fit on a relatively small Secure Digital card. On a 512 Mb card can even store 4 feature films! And after watching them, you can put 4 new ones on, over and over again.
For movies longer then 100 minutes, Makayama Software recommends a minimum memory card of 256 MB is required. |
Only drawback is that it'll be a 2-step solution for me as my PC doesn't have a DVD drive so I'll have to rip my Tron DVD on my iBook and copy it to the PC before I can convert it.
[EDIT: Typo] |

I captured it with my Video Capture Card and copied it down to a 500 MB CF card in about two hours.
I have to do it again though because I didn't put in chapters so I can't jump around in the movie.where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

I think I'm way over due for a new widget like that. Well with my new upgrade to a new position which is coming soon this week. I might be able to squeeze in a new pocket pc there. One that has win ce/xp in it. So I can get something like those themes that I believe Davetron. I think it was you or at least some one like Auric had shown one time before. Correct me if I am wrong here on that part. My olderone is no longer good and too old as well. I can't even get the cradle for it anyomore at Future shop or Staples up here in Quebec.

VROOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!
To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.
