I hope this is a good thing.................

Monolith helped make Tron 2.0.
I must say I've become increasingly worried any time a larger gaming company takes out a smaller one.

Hmmmmm... I don't know. Sounds like a good thing.
'Course it sounded like a good thing when First Energy bought the company I USED to work for, too.
Buy outs are usually tough, but this one sounds pretty positive.

Yeah. I kinda saw this coming, as Monolith is helping them build the Matrix Online. Hopefully Warner will keep this asset in better condition then when they had Atari. Maybe this will mean we finally get a "V" computer game at some point in the future.order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill "Word to the Motherboard!" - IsoLine |

Yeah, "V" would be cool
Of course, "Tron: Revisited"... or "Tron 3.0" would be cooler where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

I'm just curious, but... would this make it harder for BVI to get Monolith to work on an explansion pack/sequel? I mean, if their already owned by another company...where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

Not to be too negative or anything but I think an expansion, let alone a sequel, to TRON 2.0 is very unlikley. I just don't think it made enough cash for them (who ever "them" end up being) to keep it going, and they'll move on to bigger money makers.
BUT, on a positive note, I think this game has a loyal enough following to keep it alive for a long time! And who knows, if we keep mapping and keep playing AND keep begging, maybe someday we'll see something.

Hold on. Following that logic, there shouldn't be Tron 2.0 for X-Box and GBA just because the PC version didn't make enough money?
Why a mac version if the game didn't make enough money?
Since the mac version is out while the x-box and gba versions are in the making... there /should/ be an expansion.

Unfortunately, that logic does not necessarily hold up. As the game already exists, all the they have to do is port the game to a new system to increase profits on a product that has already been created. Sure, some work is required when porting an existing game to a new system, but is very little when compared to creating a sequel or even an expansion.
Therefore, it makes sense that the company would want to spend just a little more to try to make up from the intial losses. But that does not necessarily justify the creation of a entirely new game.

Well, hopefully after all the numbers are in and Tron gets more of a following (crossing my digits), then we'll see Tron 2.0 and the other Tron games made a nice bundle of money. Enough to justify the creation of MORE MORE MORE!!!!!

Not necessarily. Warner knows Monolith has a reputation of being an all around game designer. While they have been aquired by WB, it would be foolish for Warner Bros. to inhibit profit increases by only allowing Monolith to create games based on WB licenses. All this means is that other companies will be working with WB and Monolith and not the just the latter. I guess it would only be an issue if a particular company didn't want to share credit with WB through Monolith, but I don't see WB boxing Monolith into a WB franchise only situation.

Well, even in a situation like you describe, we really don't know how big those expectations were and if they were fullfilled or not. That is pretty much the domain of BVI. They could simply decide not to make a sequel to TRON 2.0 for other more impulsive reasons that have nothing to do with the PC version Point of Sale nomenclature. Perhaps these higher ups have decided not to make a decision until sales of the XBox and GameBoy Advance versions have had adequate sales exposure. I think the best thing to do is just keep hoping and of course trying to make some positive noise in the right ears as the time goes on.
