I have made a recognizer in a program called 3D canvas, which is free. You can download it here:
http://www.amabilis.com/
The recognizer file itself is about 624kb, so I can post it somewhere if someone has space available. All the objects are grouped, so you can rotate, spin and move the recognizer as a whole. I am also working on the Tron "Canyon" and almost have that done too.
The point? You can capture a shot of the recognizer at any angle and paste it into other graphics type programs.
I could post screen shots, but I don't have any web space to do so. If anyone is REALLY interested then I could try and find some.
Anyway, let me know

If you can send the files to me I can post them here on the Sector for you. Let me know if you want to arrange that.

Wow, looks nice! Spot-on job with the modeling. Making a texture shouldn't be too hard, either-- maybe we can make two teams of them and have them fight or something.

Yeah, 3D Canvas is amazing. You can take any image and make it a texture. For example, my plaid Recognizer could fight your wood-flooring Recognizer. I can't belive they give this thing away for free. The trick is getting that "Tron" kind of gradient coloring to anything. I can't belive how perfect they got that gradient coloring in the early 80's.
