The amazing Sketch creates another great piece of... greatness! ...very good too.
I really like the look of it- (see, I copied+pasted to see it in a bigger size.) very... corrupted... and also very monster-like. like I say, I really like the look of it, very nice overall design. (heh, horns. awsome.)
great work, Sketch!

Hey Dark I sent you the link for the scaled down version that's the true avatar size. I forgot to send it to ya with the regualr pic.
Glad your happy with the look Darksaber. Kinda went with a Darth Maul/Demon type look. Here's what that image originally looked like on paper if your interested in seeing it. Original drawing.
Here's the regular image to save people the time from having to copy and paste it into a browser. Darksaber7.

Very Kewl.
Sketch have you ever written a "How to..." for the procedure you followed to turn that hand drawing into the final image? If so I'd love to see it.

Hmmm. I did throw together a evolution gif animation after I finished just for fun. (May take a minute or two to load) It's brief, but shows about half of the steps involved. I've never really written a "How To" on my photoshop procedures cause they seem to shift and change with time. Might try to make one when I can finally get my site updated. My site is down at the moment. Grrrr! Might use the Darksaber image for a tutorial cause it's pretty basic. There's some images I have that are very complex, and have tons of layers just to create one image. Let's see, I think Dark has about 6 or more image layers so it would be simple enough to write about.

That was a line in Army of Darkness if I recall, right? AWESOME movie!
"Did you recite the words EXACTLY?"
"Yeah, sure... more or less"
Actually, that line has been used in a lot of films probably.
And Sketch - VERY cool "from conception to reality" animation of Drksaber7's avatar I love stuff like that!

Supercool, Sketch! How on Earth do you do that? I don't have enough patience for pictures like those! How do you draw them? Using a mouse or what? And which programs do you use?

Start with pencil then move on to a mouse. I first sketch out the drawing, then scan it onto a computer, and with the help of layers in Photoshop 7 reoutline the image, paint, and add effects. There's much more to it, but that narrows it down to what I do. Man I would love to have a digital drawing pad. Those things are just so awsome!
