Um...
Ok, I get the concept and how they're trying to reach the conclusion to this age old question, but how exactly does one measure the number of licks when the dampness of the tongue quotient multiplied by the flavor factor of the Tootsie Pop compounded with pi reaches infinity? Then again, I may have miscalculated 
You know - in those old commercials, it only took THREE licks to get to the center. You see, that is when the cartoon, owl-professor would bite the Tootsie Pop and reach the center. No need for formulas there.

We had to do that project in middle school.
The teacher gave us the tootsie pops and told us to count how many licks till we got to the center...
I think I counted like, 200.
