I was looking through some emails before and ran across this link from a email journal that I get on a daily basis. And I thought for a moment that I don't know if anyone here is interested in flight simulators. I know Microsoft has one out. But this one looks evn better. And its free as well to download and install on several different types of computers. Including Mac OS X, SGI, Linux, and winfdows as well. Here is the link for those who are interested in it.
I'll more likely download this at a later time when I get another computer set up over here. That has more CPU power in it. and just get the source code and compiler directly here. There is the fully functional there as well for those who don't know any programming at all.

To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.

I'm surprised none of our pilot programs commented on this one.
It looks pretty cool actually.
I've always enjoyed the sensation of flying... in games anyway. It's fun to sit in the cockpit and fly around - either to perform tight maneuvers in interesting terrains, or in heated battle with enemies.
This program looks like an actual airplane simulation where one has to know a little more than just moving the joystick around.
Hmm - might have to download this one and give it a try.

I used to really like Flight Sims and then for some strange reason the enjoyment factor died for me and I never got back into them. I think the turning point was when I was introduced to Falcon. Great Flight Sim and combat sim, but not easy to master. I'll probably give it a whirl. It looks pretty nice, the models look pretty classy too.

I'll be doing the same soon for this one. But I'll get the source code for it. I would like to see how many lines of code it takes to completion. For curioustiy sake. I guess its the way I do with the programming in C++ under Borland C++ version 7 nd delphi as well. Always wanted to know the end products compilation.

The trouble I always have with sims is that I get in the plane, I master the controls, I fly around... and within an hour it's "Now what?" Sure, there are challenges and stuff you can do, but they usually fail to hold my attention.
