It seems many Tron fans are right about at 30 years old and up. But a few are 15-20 years old. This is a calling to those young ones that you need to spread the word regarding Tron! Get your friends involved in the Tron universe. Force them to watch the Tron movie with you at least once -- maybe on a Friday or Saturday night -- then follow-up with a little Tron 2.0 or Tron: Killer App action. A lot of people don't know what Tron is, so it may pleasantly surprise them. Besides, aren't the 80s coming back anyways? I've heard some 80s styles are back in some of the hip stores. Reinforce to them (if they make fun of it) that, yeah, it may look a little dated, but it was really ahead of its time both story-wise and CGI-wise.
Any time I get a chance, I publicize Tron. Some people think I'm weird for bringing it up all the time, but I'm trying to keep it alive! I actually went to an '80s theme party a week or two ago and brought the Tron DVD to play on the TV set in the background while we played an 80s trivia game  Subliminal messages never hurt anyone -- well, at least when we're talking Tron! Hehe.
So many more of my friends, family and co-workers know about Tron now and actually respect my love for the film. Some have even bought the Tron 2.0 video game and rented/watched the movie for the first time or again because of me.
My nephew took a picture of the Tron signage out front of the El Capitan theater for me when I guess it was playing there 5 or 10 years ago. Well Traahn, I know scince I've joined Tron-sector, I've gotten a few people interested in Tron, and so far they've all agreed- no one can understand how people couldn't like it. I publicize Tron when I can, but only so much publicizing can be done in one day! (by me at least)
and HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, COMPUCORE!oh, and DaveTRON, my B-day is correct on the listsing thingie.
