So I'm in my Medical Assistant Class and we're watching a movie on the Endocrine System. In this video is a lot of backlit animation.
Now, didn't Steve Lisberger pioneer backlighing animation? Could it be said that He Who Brought Us  is the one who gave us such great animation in videos of the Endocrine System as well? Or was that kind of animation something of a fad during the late 70's/early 80's? Thanks.

I think Steven can claim the most adventurous use of that style, but I believe there were many people responsible for the style. The one I remember the most is the Levi's advert that had all the backlit animation.

Clearly, though, it was put to best (and most memorable) use in TRON!!!!
