Hey, guys: Would it be possible to upgrade the I/O Tower Forums to a newer engine-- say, Invision Power Board or somesuch? The colors are great, the emoticons are great, but this board is missing some important features, like Jump To First New Post In Thread and View Posts In Reverse Order When Replying To A Thread. These changes would make the forum much easier to use. Can we upgrade? Is this possible? Or are we going for the "retro" feel?abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

Vbulliten is exspensive well over $1k. phpBB is very similar to it and is free. I'm happy with the way the forums look now, no point in giving auric and the other admins headaches they dont need. Some of the extra features would be nice....but we could be on yahoogroups, or heck even a listserve

I think the message board program is good here as well. It can always be updated through Auric and the other admins for newer features.. It would be a very big hassle to install another message board. Reconfigure it. Test it, make any other modifications to it to suit the theme to it. Its just not worth thetime to do that. Since this board that is being used now. Is working well as it is over here.

I Personally like the forum software as it is... and as Compusore said, upgradeing would just be a big hassle which isn't really nesscessary. after all, it's the people, not the software that makes a forum.where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

If I recall correctly, didn't Auric write the forum code himself? I personally like the set up here.

I believe that he did Nikster. I believe he did. And I can understand how he did it too. There are many different ways of writing a message board on a web site. It all depoends on what you want on it.
