I was visitin' IGN'sr GAMEBOY section and was pleased to find out the game is coming out for Nintendo's portable system. It'll be a 3rd quarter view action-adventure title.
And guess what?
It'll include emulated versions of Midway's arcade games TRON and DISCS OF TRON as bonus games!
Holy crap! Awsome!

Looks pretty interesting! I was hoping they'd put emulated versions of the old arcade games on the PC release of Tron 2.0. *sigh*
Now I can only continue to hope an expansion pack or sequel is released for the PC version.
DaveTron -- How's "TRON: Killer App" going for the XBOX? Do you have any more artwork or screenshots you can post? Or have you been doing that and I just don't see the thread? Thanks!

Some really sweet images for the game on gameboy there. And that including the dot and the original game of tron. Man all these new tron games coming up here.

I was just going to post a thread on how great it would be to have a classic TRON collection including TRON, Discs of TRON, and the Atari and intellivision games. This is great news!

Well with the last minute this afternoon of getting a job. I think I might actually be able to get a good system now and play both tron 2.0 or get either the xbox or the GBA and still get it once I get everything in order now over here.

Hi all,
All you guys are talking whistfully of taking emulated Tron and Discs of Tron home. But I am guessing right in thinking that you all know about MAME (Multi-Arcade Machine Emulator)? Or is that a taboo subject here. :-)

Eh, MAME... I could never get used to using the keyboard as a controller for any of those games. But that's my problem with emulators in general. I tried alot of Atari 2600 and NES games that I still have (somewhere) and just couldn't get into it.
Yes, a controller could solve all that, but I'm cheap!

I am doing exactly that. I have a second TRON cabinet with a blown monitor in it. I am stripping it for parts, and making a TRON multicab for myself.
That way I can have DOT on one side, TRON on the other and a machine that plays every other game in existence in the center!
