As described in the script, it's supposed to look like a cross between "a tank and a ferrari". It's a vehicle that was created as a military prototype by Wayne Enterprises.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill The Clu abides, man...

Batman: Quick Robin! To the Batlump!
Robin: But Batman, won't some people, like maybe the people who worked on the Batlump, or the government officials that were involved with the project, recognize the Batlump as a Wayne Enterprises military prototype and put two and two together?
Batman: Helloooo? Superman plus glasses equals perfect disguise, remember?
Robin: Oh yeah. To the Batlump!

Actually, the designer of the new Batmobile is Lucius Fox, the Chairman of Wayne Enterprises...who, as any fan of the comic will tell you, is the only "civilian" other than Alfred who knows his true identity. The Clu abides, man...

Maybe somebody else designed it, but who built it? Did Bruce and his pal Lucius do it all by themselves? The thing looks like a mutant Monster Garage project; maybe they hired Jessie James!abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

Here is my best guess. Lucius designed it. Wayne Enterprises had it built and it was soon listed as surplus. Lucius then listed it on eBay in an anonymous auction. Thus all Bruce had to do was win that auction. Come on. As ugly as this thing is who else would bid on it?

Jeezy creezy, all yall have seen is two pictures containing VERY little detail, taken from front and back angles with short lenses...at least wait until it's up on screen before making fun of it.
I'm sure there were plenty of people back in 80 and 81 who would have thought that the lightcycle looked "!@#$ stupid", as Dave so eloquently put it.

Oh I wasn't really trying to make fun of it. Take this vehicle for example. I think its probably the coolest vehilcle ever made and I was even thinking about buying it back in 1999. However as my wife points out and I can see where she's coming from it too is about as ugly as they come.

Don't take it all too personal, Fusion. It's just that the Batmobiles have always been the ultimate in cool. They should be sleek, fast and suave. I'm sure the new one serves a story-driven purpose. But it ain't what we want to see Batman cruising around town in, ya know? where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

Reminds me of another vichule that is made in Europe which looks almost as bad as that. But not exactly the same purpose. Its the Pinzguaer truck that they use in Europes military in some areas. So long as it does the job. I've seen similar trucks up here but not military ones like that one there of a beige beast. But ones similar to like the Pinzgauer in either the 4x4 or 6X6 version..

I know what it is. Dean Jefferies designed and built it and through most of 1998 and 1999 it sat in his lot with a forsale sign on it. Once I found out about that I *HAD* to atleast call and ask how much he wanted for it. The number he told me was $40,000 and I came this close to buying it. I actually flew out there with my family to view it and make him an offer. Turns out he wasn't as interested in selling it as I thought. He was more after the added interest that it drew being for sale. Just after my visit he took it off the market and fixed it up. It now looks MUCH better. I've got a few pictures of myself and Dean standing in front of it that I'll try to scan once I can find them after my move. Dean is one of the most interesting people I've ever talked to. He was a stunt man at one time. He also designed this Landmaster all by hand as he thinks computers are a passing fad. He doesn't use emails or credit cards as he thinks they will disapear as fast as they came. Oh and a word of warning... he does NOT like Star Wars. It shouldn't be too hard to fingure out why. When I met with him my oldest son was wearing a Star Wars T-shirt and it caused more friction then I ever thought something like that could. Still I have to say both him and his wife are very friendly people. Last time I talked to him he was working on an autobiography which I certainly hope gets published as its at the top of my must have list. By the way... 3 working miniatures of the Landmaster were made for the movie Damnation Alley. Dean has 2 and one of these has been fixed up and I know was in a museum out there in the Hollywood area. I'm not sure if it still is or not. But the 2 Dean has aren't for sale. If anyone knows where the 3rd one is today I'd be very interested.

SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!
I thought the "paraphrase" on Star Wars he did in Reign of Fire was sweet/terrific/[pick a word], and I loved Newsies!
...of Course-I've been a fan since Empire of the Sun, that goes without saying.
I can't wait for the movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are partly amphibious yes. but not completely though as that. Take a look at the main home page there is a small video there where you have to use your mouse over the image in order to get the movie going. Take a look. Where is teh main site for that one? Going to take a look and get more information about that one.

Looks like they just drive on the bottom. I guess you are ok as long as the waters not much more then 6 feet deep.
I have seen one other truck that could be driven as a boat though. I think I saw it on Real TV. Someones made an amphibious truck out of a used milk truck (or maybe tanker truck). I can't find a picture of it on the web though at the moment.

Thanks... I just found it. Very cool little movie.

To my knowledge there is no official site on it. Dean Jefferies designed, built, and currently owns it and all the rights to its design. That's why no ones ever made any toys of it. Anyways he doesn't do the web. There are many fan sites up about it though... the best of which is probably the one MutoidMan has in his post above. Namely
http://users.snowcrest.net/fox/landmaster/
There are also several articles in print about it. I think its the last vehicle of its kind. It was built to actually be able to do all the stunts the movie required it to do. Now days all that stuff is done in the digital world which as an engineer makes me sad. Can I say that on a TRON based news group and be safe?
