I am wondering if anyone is going to try and go to the screenings at the El Capitan in May?
Auric and I were thinking that it might be fun to arrange a TRON Sector night. Anyone interested.

I wish I could go too. I visited their website and read all about the theatre. It's absolutely beautiful. Then I nearly dropped my jaw at the site of the El Capitan Wurlitzer. Wow, what a behemoth! I bet that things sounds totally awesome with the theatre's acoustics.

Well I know I cna't come since I am across the boarder here and its on the other side of the of the States. If it was closer by like in Montral I would go.

I'll sure as hell be there (during E3). Plan to see it as many times as possible.
You guys need to realize that this may be the LAST time it's ever up on the the big screen in 70MM.
Thursday, May 13th is going to be 'Tron-Sector Night' at the theatre. If you can make it that night, myself and others will be in attendance. We can make it a mini-Tron convention.
If you do NOT have a Tron-Sector membership (thus you can't post here) but do plan on being there, please email me and let me know!
Come on guys! Let's make this event rock!

Some day I really really need to move to Cali. The odds of anything cool taking place on the East coast (aside from a rare Orlando event) are sitting on the edge of nothing. For once I want to be able to drive to something. No spending 1k on flight tickets, no taking a week off of work for a road trip.

Actually if I were a kid I think I might have a better chance of going. My 'rents always liked to take a mini-vacation, so I'd be begging and pleading that they take one in Cali right now. As it stands now it'd take me a year to save up enough for a quest such as this.
