Kamui.EXE enters the room with the Commander.
"Don't you know that you aren't supposed to invite strangers in to your tower? They just might hurt you." Kamui says as she rezzes up her Data_Katana.
"Kamui.EXE.... the forgotten legend?" he seemed supprised.
"Apparently, you know me. Now give me what is rightfully mine!" says Kamui.
"What might that be?" He said narrowing his eyes.
"My memories!" Kamui exclamed.
With that, she charged at the Commander. Apparently, the only way to gain her clue is to fight for it.

(with Harpo...)
I got the chat just in time for me to see the explosion go off.
[chat_1: "Nice work, Tweak! I'll meet up with you outside the base! Although I may be bringing a... 'old friend' with me..."] Should I really help her? after everything that's happened... I stepped on the speed and used some of the exploded rubble to speed up a convieniently made ramp straight for the window.
(with the Commander...)
I drew my ID disc as I looked into Kamui's firey eyes. and within a nanocycle she was running for me. I held out my disc in defence and pushed her away from me, then started to toss my disc as I looked to my left and saw some crazy cyclist racing straight for the open window... straight for me...
(with Harpo...)
Just then I came flying right at the window, heading for the commander, I pulled myself betweeen the two programs, leaving the Commander shocked for only a moment.
[chat_2: "Need a lift, Kamui?"]

"In a nano, Harpo. I still have some buisness to finish," She says as she makes her next charge for the Commander.
It was during the charge, she noticed something around his neck. It was the clue! The amulet that had what she was looking for! The list of programs who were linked to Tron!
"I'm not sure how someone as cowardly as yourself made it to the rank of Commander without some heavy bribery seeing as it was you who ran away while hundreds of your comrads died that night," She said during the charge.
The Commander blocked her blade.
"How did you know about 'The Night of One Thousand?'" He growls.
"I was the one who derezzed all of them." Kamui says.
The Commander let his guard down for a nano. Kamui.EXE took the opportunity to make a wide recklass arc with her Data_Katana. It would so seem recklass but it was truely well calculated. She slashed across the front of the Commanders neck and cut the amulet's "chain" off his neck. In the process, she took off the Commander's trigger fingers from his right hand. She caught the amulet in mid air. The Commander gripped his right hand in pain. Just as Kamui.EXE is about to mount Harpo's lightcycle, she turns to face the Commander one last time.
"You're lucky it's just your fingers. There's not many weapons you can handle without those fingers. Even your disk won't fly right. And you an I both know how incompetant you are with your left," she says.
With that, she mounts the lightcycle, IPeX flies in to the room and sits on her shoulders.
"Let's get out of here, Harpo." She says.
The lightcycle zooms out the broken window and in to the night.

[comment]ooh... drama... Yeah, it should be night, considering they were having a party and all... that's how *I* imagined it anyway.[/comment]
with Kamui in the cycle just behind me, I re-rezzed the canopy and shot the cycle off of the ledge. the speed was enough for us to clear the rubble... I headed for one of the walls and opened the canopy for a moment. I streched out my hands and foucused on the wall (I grabbed my subroutines back while Kamui was dicing up the commander). the wall vibrated, and I pushed with my mind. The wall rippled, then a hole just big enough for the cycle blew open. I leaned back into the cycle and re-rezzed the canopy as we passed through the hole in the wall, and headed towards the base exit.

The Tweaker hissed through the air, building up velocity as the ground rushed up towards him.
/subroutine.Flyer: [activate]/
Datalines appeared above The Tweaker, as a chevron-shaped wing coalesced above him and control bits rezzed into existence on either side of his P-Rod. The gravity- and velocity-manipulating properties of his hang glider kicked in, and he swooped to horizontal. Energy boots appeared on his feet, and he used his swollen energy reserve for acceleration as he winged to his left and powered towards the station's northmost gate at maximum velocity.

I turned around to my partner in crime behind me and explained: "Well, appearantly you didn't notice, there's a huge destructive wave of code contradiction spreading through this entire system (and beyond) caused when I removed some kind of emutlator from a MCP outpost." Right about then we reached the north exit, and I pulled the cycle to a halt, recompressing it to it's rod primitive form. and I continued to explain: "The only way to stop it is for me to replace the code to the MCP outpost about 3 KM north of here. now I know that based on our last meeting I should probably never talk to you again, but things are much bigger here then you or I could imagine. it's much more inportant that this thing gets worked out."
I waited to see how she would respond, then activated a triangulate subroutine and started scanning for tweaker.
(with the commander...)
Kamui... how in the name of the MCP did she get here? no matter. she got what she wanted from me, and would probably leave this system as soon as she could... providing the Hogs don't get her. the thought made me smile, then I foucused back on what I was doing; walking toward my sleep station. the SSEs could take care of the rouges and I could use the rest.
[PING]What now? [chat_1(Rodermiss2.dll): "Yes, what is it?"] ["Sir, you probably ought to come to the command center, right now."] sigh... I suppose a commander's duty is never done. [chat_1: "Yes, yes, allright I'm coming."] I changed course and headed for the center. What would they need me for? likely a small Hog attack or something like that. war is such a pain... I entered the command room and immidietly noticed we had entered security alert level 4.
[comment]Alert levels 4 is sorta like defcon 4. just though you'd like to know...[/comment]"what's going on here?" I asked. "sir!" I reognized the voice as Rodermiss2. "we have detected some cort of destruction wave getting close to our sector." "So?" "Uh, when it intercepts, it will destroy the entire sector." "WHAT? Is this some sort of external weapon to drive us out?" "No, Commander. it appears to be some sort of error." This was bad and seemed to just be getting worse. "How long to impact?" "less than a Microcycle. that's all we know for sure." the reply made me shudder. "get all game scripts and SSEs barricaded by the time that thing hits. but a few tank squads ready at the perimiter." "Sir?" "I don't want to be afraid of somthing that just might be a diversion." "Yes sir..."abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

[comment] Say, what ever happened to those ICPs... 20396 and 20401? I didn't notice when I scanned back through.[/comment]

Tweaker spotted his friend Harpo, angled toward him, flipped up the nose of the glider, and flared in for a perfect landing. The dataglider disassembled itself and faded into the Rod, the propulsion-providing energy boots vanished, and Tweaker dropped easily to the ground, sheathing his Rod as he did so.
Harpo! You're out! Thank the Users you made it... But who's this? [loads Profiler and runs it over Kamui] Care to introduce me?

"No problem." Kamui.EXE says to Harpo as she cracks her knucles.
She then sees Tweaker. Tweaker asks for an introduction.
"My name is Kamui.EXE. And the little creature on my shoulder is IPeX. We're looking for answers to my past." Kamui.EXE says.
Prior to returning to the Encom server a year after "The Night of One Thousand," she couldn't remember the details to her past. Who was she really? What was her real function? And what was her connection to Tron? She hoped she'd be a step closer to answering those questions after the night was over.

(With Harpo...)
I deactivated my triangulate subroutine and turned to face the two of them. "Tweaker, this is a... old friend of mine, Kamui. Kamui, this is The Tweaker, we met at MCP 256. Before it was destroyed, of course." I turned and started scanning again, this time for TF. "Tron Fanatic should be here soon. then we can head for MCP148. providing the wave doesn't hit before then. although I doubt it's hit the base yet."
(with the Commander...)
I kept one eye on the console map while watching the comm board with the other. there was no way some anomoly would take out my base. not while I'm in command. "Sir!" it was rodermiss2.dll again. "Yes?" I replied. "We will have base contact with the anomoly in exacly one point zero three minicycles." That soon? that's not enough time... "Are all the Tank squadons in place?" "yes, Sir." Then now would be as good as ever.

[comment] the two ICP's kinda got caught up in the tank battle between the time Harpo got captured and Tweaker joined the Residuum battle. When all that happened I really wasn't sure where to write them in again. But I do know where they got to... [/comment]
::: Residuum game tanks and Hog hover tanks are exchanging fire. Chevron-shaped impact shells and cutting energy beams are flying back and forth across the war-torn grid. Not a moment went by without some sort of explosion from either a dying vehicle or the structural landscape.
ICP20396: Comeon, we need to blow this thing now. Trust me, in that mess, they won't have time to deal with a couple of deserting tanks.
Residuum Tank 204: What was that? I distinctly heard the word desertion.
ICP20401: You were saying?
ICP20396: ::: sigh ::: Nevermind. Break off NOW!
::: two tanks suddenly swerved away from the main group :::
ICP20401: You do realize that we're... *BZZT* Making ourselves VERY easy Hog targets now...
ICP20396: ::: BOOM ::: I noticed. Just keep going. We need to get to the outpost. There's very little time left! That error is accelerating!
::: meanwhile, TF sees a few tiny points of light near the northern part of the base ::: There they are! ::: drives right up to everyone and stops instantly just inches away from them, trying to get a little scare. rezzes out of the cycle and stands up ::: So, did I miss anything?
