I dunno, Thorne was kind've a 'dark side' sorta dude! So if by "newer and friendlier" you mean "darker and more sinister," then yeah -- I'd agree  LOL

Poor Thorne. I felt his character was not quite delved into enough in Tron 2.0.
I feel like he was Vader.... but in the Tron universe... corrupted by power, but helpless to stop what he started.
Very sad.

Darksaber's an exeption cause he's green, so he has a very.......... different perspective on Thorne than the rest of us.
