I've been perusing another forum for an upcoming video game. Sorry. That's been taking some of my focus away from Tron-Sector

Other factors of why Tron hasn't been on the fore-front of my mind lately:
* Tron20.net hasn't updated their site in eons, which is a bit discouraging for me. It means we might not be getting any Tron 2.0 single player add-ons or expansion packs for our PCs.
* The Tron comicbooks were canceled
* A Tron movie sequel still hasn't been announced, and

Well, there may or may not be additional add-ons for the game. Time will tell.

And a TRON sequel... well, who knows. If there will be one, I think it's safe to say it's at least two years off as I don't think they're even in pre-production stage at this point assuming one is underway.

Does it really matter?

Is not the original TRON, TRON enough to keep your interest?

This forum is not about TRON, so much as it is about those of us who LOVE TRON, and all things TRON.

My two cents, anyway.

I hope you stick around Traahn.

Perhaps in time, something new TRON will be available.

That's a cool twist you've put the game screen shot... and I might add, that the graphics and subtle lighting effects in that game awesome! If the game plays as cool as it looks, it should indeed be a winner!

And my little red creature... well, he's not quite done yet. Nothing major, just a little red creature, simple in form, to be used in a creative project I've been chewing on for over a month now. Just one small piece of a much larger puzzle... well, actually the entire puzzle is really very small itself, it's just taking me much longer than anticipated to get things done. I'm a one-man crew over here... and my time to work on creative projects is limited. I keep having ideas that I want to incorporate in to it, and I keep getting off track and experimenting with this or that. In the end, probably 1/10th of what I did will end up being in there. And I do plan on sharing it with everyone here at the Sector. The project is not TRON related, BUT there will probably be a hint of TRON in it... I often throw at least a hint of TRON in my creative projects.

Having just finished the Jet adventure (2.0 was well worth the purchase), I'm very impressed on how they managed to integrate modern technological concepts into the original TRON world... which says alot from me, who has been managing business networks for almost 8 years now.

So yeah, I'm plugged into the genre again. It's cool for me, I was a kid when the movie came out, so to see it come full swing into the modern network world is a treat.
