I tried to download a DeRez map from the Tron 2.0 official web site. I registered an account. I tried to download the map. It asked me to log in. I did so. It asked again. I did so. It asked again. I requested my password (to see if I was mistyping it.) I got my password verification email. I tried again. I keep being returned to the login screen.

I tried to contact the webmaster. There is, of course, no such link. I filled out the "non-technical question" form. I was told that my email address was invalid. (Funny, the mail server I use seems to like it fine.)

Somebody slap the ICP doing the authenticaing at the Tron 2.0 web site, please.

And while I'm on the subject, can I just say what a better web site Tron-Sector is, in every way? That corporate Flash-stuffed monstrosity wastes so much screen space, they have to stuff their actual content into tiny little windows, which as often as not display with half the text hidden under some layer or other.

Tron-Sector looks great, the art is superb without being overbearing, the design is classic and easy to navigate (why reinvent the wheel - or anyway, the disc - if you don't have to?), and the authentication system ACTUALLY WORKS.

What they should have done at tron20.net is make it for different resolutions. THat was my only complaint there about the sight. My current monitor can only handle 800 X 600 32 bit resolution for that place. Here at Tron sector is great. 800X600 no problems what so ever.

You have to accept all cookies from the site including 3rd party ones. I had the same problem until I stopped blocking go.com cookies.

Regarding the tron20.net website, I complained a few months ago about the lack of support for 800x600, and even gave detailed instructions on how and why to fix it, and the official response was basically "the person who designed the website likes it the way it is." So, there you have it.

Was very hard for me to browse Tron 2.0's site because of the resolution restriction.
