I've got to agree with the bill. There's no point to the countless McDonald's lawsuits because they're all stupid.
I wouldn't be annoyed if the point was to make the resturant be aware of what they're putting in the food... but so many lawsuit laters, it's all about the money.

There are some people who have eating problems and they should really take responsiblity and not blame resturants for it... then again, trying to get any of those people to take responsibility for whatever they do is a pain in the butt.

Scuzzy: That sounds like way too much and expensive! O_o If I was hungry, I'd just stick with 20 pieces of chicken nuggets (if they didn't take them off of the menu... TT)

Kia: Cool. I'm a infamous mythological perfect User.

Most resturaunts only completely change their fryers only once or twice a week. More than that is too expensive. Trust me, I work in a resturaunt I know these things

I'm personally not a big Bush supporter, but this bill... I'm not sure about. it's true that if people decide to pig out on fast food that's likely to hurt them anyway, it's thier fault.
guess I'm going to have to think on that.

Unlike tobacco, fast food doesn't have a physically addicting quality (pshycologically, maybe). And it's clear that it's not the supersizing, it's the multiple ordering (see Mr. Big's order above - 10 burgers? Yipes).

I think it's a good thing becasue it's about time people start being more presonally responsible for their actions and decisions instead of trying to find someone else to blame for them.

I know if (when) I go into cardiac arrest it's going to be becasue of the smoking I did (I quit) and the overeating and lack of excersise (I'm working on that, too). There's going to be no one I can blame but myself.

that's very true, Scuzzy. however, for some people (I'm not going to gereralize- this is just from experience) if they can blame anyone but themselves, they will.

I'm not disagreeing here- this is just what I think.

Even with the addictive nature of cigarettes, all the lawsuits were (and are) still a crazy. I mean that, in this day and age (even going back 20 years), how can people say they didn't know what it was going to do to them? I started smoking at the tender age of 15 (dumb @$$) and knew they were addictive AND deadly. But you're invincible at that age. Now at 29, with three young children, I curse the day I first lit up. Every smoke takes time off my life and I have the health of your average 54 year old.

The point of this is it was MY decision to start, and MY constant failure at quitting. People need to get over their "sue happy" attitudes and take some responsibility for THEIR own actions. How can you eat something with so much salt that it will give you a sore on your toung, or something with so much grease it runs down your hand, and then claim to have had no idea it was bad for you?

Alot of companies will sell you things that are bad, but the fact that the product is bad is generally well known (meaning the ones that have been brought up in this thread). The choice is yours.

*after reading this it seems a little "snipy" or something... It's not meant that way. I just wish ppl would take a little responsibility for their actions and was trying to "verbalize" it, that's all*

Don't you wish your corruption was hot like me?

"on the new menu to be launched at the end of this month, a "Caesar salad with Chicken Premiere" contains 18.4 grams of fat compared with 11.5 grams of fat in a standard cheeseburger."

You know, it could be better kinds of fat in the salads...

Personally I like to chow down on a side salad WITH a double cheeseburger. And lots of water-soda messes with the vocal chords I think.

Do re mi/hack cough/ti do....
