Not the Tron 2.0, but one inspired by Janet Jackson (I know, I'm sick of the story, too). It does interest me what people will choose to get offended by, or what people think will be offensive...

Y'know, the whole b00bage thing doesn't bother me (other than is was presented, guerilla style, on a prgram that would have otherwise been Family Programing"), but what does get me is this: How sad is modern music that it can't stand on it's own and must be bolstered by lame sex tricks? I don't even think Janet is that attractive anymore. Could her face be any more sallow and dry? Justin Timberlake? "I'm going to rock your body"?? That wuss couldn't rock in a quarry.
A case in point. Music executives are contantly complaining that music sales are down, and it must be the fault of music pirates. Bad music pirates! Bad!...The latest Norah Jones CD sole a million copies in less than a month, if I remember the stat properly.
It's not that people aren't buying music, it's that they're not buying crappy music. There's a difference. And 90% of what's being force-fed to us is utter crap (Brittney Spear's "Toxic"? Only if you have to listen to it).

Well said Scuzzy, but I can tell you from experience that piracy is a big factor too.

Quite so, but not to the extent I think that the RIAA says so, at least in my humble opinion.
And please, do not think I condone music piracy. I own the liscense to all of the music in my collection and am against piracy. Thank you.

No accusations, just personal experience. I deal with piracy issues a lot at work. We get idiots who call and ask for help on the version of TRON 2.0 they just downloaded. Idiots!

If it was Madonna who did it, everyone would have just yawned and moved on by now.

Madonna, like Britney Spears and Christina Agulera, make their careers out of Jumping the Shark. Were it not for their sexual antics/reinventing themselves they all would be relegated to one-hit-wonder status where they belong.

and that RIAA claims that the artists are losing money. That part of statment is true because the RIAA is taking the money. :P The artists get their money from tours and stuff.
I really dislike RIAA due to the fact that they will sue anyone without much thought. (Sick of all the ridicious lawsuits...) Though, I don't really like piracy but it really bothers me that some people purchase programs like Kazaa and assume that they're getting the files legally just because they purchased that program. (This was revealed when RIAA directly sued a little girl. Not her parents, the girl. I have no idea where they found out the girl's name... she doesn't pay for the internet bills, her parents does.)
I also think the media overreacted to the boob. It's just a boob... it's not going to grow teeth and explode out of the tv screen and rip people's faces off... *shakes head* it seems so ridicious to worry about a body part when there's far more serious things to worry about.where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

History repeats: First they pull Captian EO because of Michael, then they pull Janet's Mickey. What's next? Michael pulls something else!?
