Tron-Con is still waiting in the wings. Things just couldn't come together to make it happen for the Tron 2.0 launch.
We will be looking to have Tron-Con sometime between late 2004 and the 25th Anniversary (July 9th, 2006).
So the short answer is nothing new to report, but it will happen. That I can assure you.
