Cannot destroy the circling robot drone, it keeps killing me and I cannot seem to touch it. I have done every thing I can think of. What am I missing or what have I done wrong.

You need to get a Suffusion subroutine from one of the ICP guards. Then you can destroy the Finder.
But frankly, you don't even need to destroy the Finder. As long as you're careful, you can avoid it completely. Just stay behind it, and it won't notice you.

BTW, your message really should have gone in the Tron 2.0 message area.

I agree.
In fact, I only even killed one of the ICPs my first time through the game and didn't kill the finder. Naturally, though, if you want all the build points, you probably will have to kill the finder. But it's not nessessary.
