  Bring it back, bring it back, waaaayyyy back!
I think there should be a rerelease of the original Baby Pacman arcade game...I remember that post from the DQ server, and I remembered my day's in my hometown where at my DQ I did play Baby Pacman-and I still count it on my top-ten arcade game list!
Then I was thinking last microcycle-why shouldn't there be new games like Baby Pacman? (arcade-pinball marriage) There has been so much trouble with games coming out and immediatly being copied on to roms...
However-No one's seen Baby Pacman emulated, because I don't think anyone's got the courage to try something that crazy (and you would miss the pleasure of actually playing a pinball game). There is a valid way to maintain the arcade/pinball lifeline and keep most crackers from ripping money from developers...make more arcade/pinball hybrids!
I'm saying this here because I hope someone in this neck of the gaming sector will see this idea and...RUN WITH IT!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh man, I couldn't agree more! Ever since I thought that one day I'd like my own arcade room, I've had Baby-Pacman at the very top of the list as my must-have arcade machine. When I ran into it last year at an arcade in Florida I nearly flipped out, I was soo excited. I played it for nearly 2 hours straight. I miss it so much now. Too bad it's so incredibly rare now, at least it's hard to find a machine in excellent working condition. But yeah, you are definitely on the right track there about creating more arcade/pinball hybrids. Lots of fun, color, lights, and sound fx! have you seen Visual PinMAME? I was playing Baby-Pacman earlier today. Visual PinMAME can emulate/simulate pinball and pin/vid combos quite easily. Not to rain on your idea but anything new would be quite easy to emulate/simulate except if the game uses >500mhz processors/video chips. I haven't touched V-PinMame in a very long time... How does it play these days..
Are there a lot of new tables available????? Let me know.. I'm a Pinball Pin-Head....

Baby Pacman? A video/pinball game? Sounds very interesting and I had a hard time seeing how you could play both at the same time. I was able to find this link:

tells me why I've never seen one before. I started grad school in the fall of 1991 and was burried in nothing else for the following 5 and a half years.
I'll have to look into getting Visual PinMAME. This sounds like a game I would have liked myself. One question... are their other pin/vid combos out there already? Was Visual PinMAME made just for Baby Pacman?

As you all know, I love all things Pac-Man, and Baby Pac is no exception. I played it much at the local Showbiz POizza Place in the 80's. I'm planning to make a MAME-based "Pac-Family" cabinet, but alas, there's no way to include poor Baby Pac-Man. I think there should still be a rerelease of Baby Pacman... I know at least some programs have heard that Space Invaders is going to be rereleased, and a rerelease of Baby Pacman would have quite more replay value than S.I.

Keep the emulated ones, I'LL TAKE ONE OF THE 7000 REAL ONES!!! (adjusted for how many are left today of course)

A rerelease would be extra great if there was the original version plus a suped up version-I think they should use pacmania for the extra version.
