Hey everyone. Just wanted to mention that I hav a job interview tomorrow morning for 11 am EST. It's for a company called pcmall. they are a reseller of computer parts and complete systems. I'm going in for account eceutive jobs to start out with. I f they have a position open internally in software development if I start working there. I might switch from sales into my original studies that I had done. So if I do get the job tomorrow. You'll hear from me over here at the top of my lungs in finding a job over at this end.

Well I had called this morning to the place that reffered me to PCMALL this morning. I didn't get accepted into the company. Reason not given to me. I think some one here was looking for a job as well Carl was it you please correct me if I am wrong here. If you want to try and get in please do so. Yep... it was me. I was hoping for another job as a process engineer in the semiconductor industry as that's what I've done for the last 7 years but at this point I'm willing to take just about anything. I'll zip them off a resume and see what happens.

On a positive note you are getting faster responces then I'm getting. After my last interview it took them 4 weeks to tell me I wasn't getting the job. I called to find out why and was told he didn't have the time at that moment but he'd pull all the paperwork together and call me back in a day or two. He never did... I didn't really expect him to. The guy had lied to me from the get-go. I know because I had a contact inside the company that I'd worked with before. I didn't find out till the day of the interview that I was being interviewed for a replacement position. They wouldn't let me on-site for fear I might bump into the person I'd be replacing. After the interview I was told there were several other applicants that they wanted to interview as well and that they'd get back to me in two or three weeks. The interview itself went very well. I had all the requirements they wanted. And I've since learned through my contact that there were no other applicants and they are sticking with the guy they already have. I think they were just testing the waters to see if they could find someone better.

Well being in the tech technology sector as a computer technician and now a software developer. I've always had to reply back quickly. So now its my turn to get them to reply quickly as well. Since now I am on the opposite end here. So I guess I can be kind of demanding over here when it comes to a reponse time.

And yes right now its really frustrating right now. Now having a job. and getting into something up here is even harder. And the jobs are scarces up here too.

I always try to take a look on the positive sie all the time. Even when I am down and frustrated and all that. I was just speaking before with a friend of mine that I used to work with about 2 years ago at another company. The placve where he is working right now in. they are still hiring people there. I had mentioned to him. if he could pull a few strings in there to see if he can get me in there as well. Since he is a recent manager anda ll that in the sales speartment. And would take with one of his colleagues there about getting me in.

Sio I'm hoping that something will come up over here. If I can get in there for a little while to at least get me alfoat over here. I'll be okay. And he has already started another business online as well for himself. So I might be working with him on both parts. Depending on how well he does there...
