Uhhh...

... *blanks* ...

Eh, I do have another favorite Disney movie, but it's not sci fi. Beauty and the Beast. (I know, I'm a sucker for romance and stained glass!)

Yeah, "Goonies" is definitely a modern classic!

My favorite (other than TRON)... uh... hard to say. I really liked "Flight of the Navigator" too. I was also thinking "The Last Starfighter" but I don't think that was Disney. "The Black Hole" - also a great one. "The Never Ending Story" (the first one)... not sure if that was Disney either...

Not sure on another favorite though. Those were some that I really enjoyed the most.

If they make Goonies 2, I want to go back and work Security on it again! I loved being there, it was a fun set to work on. I need to get it on DVD.

Flight of the Navigator

"What happened?"

"It leaked..."
lol! I love those lines.

I can't be sure, but I think that movie is the one that started my fascination with time travel.

I've got The Last Starfighter on DVD; that is another one of my favorite movies!

"Suffice it to say, you're on Rylos, my boy. Stop thinking human. That's lesson number one. Now lesson number two: You've got a good thing going here. Keep smiling. Don't blow it. Lesson number three: Always trust Centauri..."

I still need to pick up The NeverEnding Story on DVD. Flight of the Navigator has never been released on DVD in the USA, so I have no idea how long we're gonna have to wait for that one.

George Pal's movie adaptation of H. G. Well's "The Time Machine" was what did it for me.

Man, I love 50's & 60's sci-fi!

Forbidden Planet (with some special effects courtesy of Disney animators), The Time Machine, The War of the Worlds, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (another awesome Disney sci-fi flick), Journey To the Center of the Earth, When Worlds Collide, The Day The Earth Stood Still, Them!, The Thing From Another World... all great stuff! They really fired my imagination when I was a kid. Still do.

Flight of the Navigator:

"What's that thing?"

"It's a zlobrotch*."

"What's wrong with it?"

"It has a cold."

(*"zlobrotch" is not intended to be the exact name of the creture, simply a made up name for the purpose of a placeholder. Any simliarities to any zlobrotchs alive, dead, having a cold or anything else implied is purely coincidental.)

Starfighter was great, I didn't know it was Disney. Also the Witch Mountain movies were great Disney Sci-FI.

It's interesting that Disney combined Sci-Fi hidden within comedy early on (Cat from OuterSpace, Spaceman in King Arthers Court, Rocketman, and Spaced Invaders)

Walt Disney Studios also did Dragonslayer(one of the first movies to combine CGI with Stop-motion animation.

And lets not forget Mission to Mars (1st Disney movie based on a ride)

Oh man, I had forgotten all those little cheesy flicks from the 70's. The Cat From Outer Space...heh. Of course, the only thing I remember is the cat using his powers to compress the entire bar of gold into a pencil-sized rod.

And speaking of "Flick", and although not "sci-fi", we have to honor 's grandchildren: Pixar movies!

I nearly peed my pants the first time I saw, "Birds of a Feather"! where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online
