Here is a place that I was recently told from another guy that I know of that is using their services right now and it seems to be good. Just that I am in the mids of getting my website changed again over here. And I might switch over to these guys in the near future. Take a look it seems to be good and plenty of space as well. http://order.1and1.com/xml/static/Home%3Bjsessionid=D83DEC9A79D6B7F1E821A28AB49483C5.TC60a

To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.

Well would you be interested in putting some of them on your website then , i know lots of tron fanatic people would like that .
On the message boards of www.tron20.net the request for music , has been posted for many times .
btw most people that visit this webpage will do so now because of the game , so technically they have what i have to offer anyway.

ps i`m not planning to give you a hard time , i just didn`t think it was going to be a problem .

We, BVG, posted the game music you see on these and other pages.

That's our call, and we chose to do it.

That does not give license to anyone else to do the same. I'm not going to discuss it further here.

If you post it, I have to inform our Legal department, simple as that. I'd rather we not get into that for both of our sakes.

Let's avoid a hassle shall we?where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

Red tape sucks

The legal issues as davetron mentioned keep BVI from releasing the songs. I would use them as a personal 'back-up'. Many of us on the forums have extracted the songs and have are very own 'back-ups'. I wouldnt even post detailed instructions on some of these methods...very thin legal line. I really dont think BVI and mon is going to take on the community RIAA style, but it is their property...and they will take action to protect it.

What do you really mean by compile? Did you remix the songs or what. Most the songs are simple small loops, the levels will trigger different loops depending on whats going on...so fight scene, suspense scene, etc. Each enviorment has its own set of loops. I have made several mixes using these samples from tron 2.0....Monalith only used maybe 2/3 of the total files located in the directory. There is even 'elevator' style music in there Dont be too discuraged by not being able to post the songs...they have gotten a lot of requests, so im sure they are working on something....hopefully they will be able to release it.

Ok, simple question then (I'm looking for a Simple answer...).

A person that buys the game uses a program like Winrez or GAP to extract the music files. He saves them, and burns them to a cd to listen to in his car / while falling asleep at night. Never uploads them or gives them to anyone.

Is he breaking any laws?

I am not a lawyer, but I personally believe the answer is no. Personal use is one thing, but dissemination of materials you do not own is a problem.

I'd liken it to taping songs off the radio. If I am the only one who has that tape and it's for my personal use, then it's not really an issue. however, if I decide I have a really cool mix of songs and start uploading it for my friends or selling copies on the streetcorner, I am in the wrong.

Thanx.

This issue comes up on game forums alot. I have a soundtrack for just about every game I own.

It's generally easy to do (obviously, 'cause i figured it out!) and I would suggest anyone that likes game music look into it. Just search the web, there are alot of "how to" sites out there, as well as free tools to do it.

In short, I think it comes down to: we, the consumer, do not own that music. It is not ours to alter / distribute. But, if you are the only one useing it, and you own the game, then it's not hurting anyone. Just don't try to make it avail. to others...

Ps. I'd still like to see an official soundtrack! abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

When i said compiled i mean i merged all the samples of for example the pda combat samples (between 3 and 6 seconds) into much larger parts for example 1 and a half minute , and i did that for all the samples of all the game levels so it sounds exactly like in the game .

So i`m not talking about the intro or the endtitle music

The only difference is that it offcourse doesnt automatically switch between combat , warning or explore music .

And i dont think that davetron meant this when he posted this

I meant that at the request of users, we posted some sound effects and the music files you can find right here at TRON Sector. We did it about a month ago.

You are the person who posted asking for help with your bootleg copy of the game in a forum heavily populated by the people you are stealing from. I deleted your note because it didn't deserve attention.

Perhaps you are angry with me for speaking up? Pay for the game and you might get a better welcome. My co-workers and I worked hard on it, and we deserve it.

well now that i'm employed after out of work for six months, I just might do that. It's an awesome game and everyone involved deserves much praise. I apologise to any who may have been offended.

It's not about taking offense, it's about watching your hard work get taken away from you and then watching someone act like it was no big deal because they were unemployed.

Frankly, your cavalier attitude towards it offends me. The "I was out of work so I just took what I wanted" type of excuse doesn't make it better. You expect sympathy?

Perhaps if I am ever out of work I can help myself to something of yours? Fair is fair right? (For those not getting it, that is sarcasm, I actually have a moral code that keeps me from stealing.)

That's the last bit of energy i will expend on you. I've said my piece.

If you like it so much, just for the love of user, buy it! o_o Just having a bootleg copy does not HELP anything much. Just please get someone to buy it. You can always tell them that you'll pay them back!

Hell, even ebgames is selling them for what, 29 bucks now!

Please.

Having a bootleg copy makes you the bad guy because you asked for help about it. People are less likely to help you because you did say that you had a bootleg copy. Everyone on this forum paid for their copy of the game, even broke or not, they paid.

Kia: Cool. I'm a infamous mythological perfect User.

I agree. I've been unemployed now for 3+ months. I'm not sure how long Tron 2.0 has been out but while I was working I never had much time for games and wasn't aware of it. Now... based on what I've seen and heard I will be getting this game but I can wait till I'm re-employed. Till then may I recomend others in my boat check out:

http://armagetron.sourceforge.net/

Its free and I hope 100% legal. I really enjoy it and I have a 5 and 8 year old that really get a kick out of it too. Trust me I know what it feels like to be unemployed. Its no licence to steal and if everyone thought it was there would be alot more people unemployed. Now that you are employed I'm sure you are hoping that people will BUY your companies products. After going through what you went through surely you SHOULD appreciate what its like to have something taken from you.

Do what's right and buy the game...
